Okay, so since RWBY Volume 10 has been greenlit, I can't sit on this any longer or it may not make sense soon, unfortunately...
So! Introducing some fan characters!
The pink gal's name is Dusk Medallion. A huntress in training at Shade Academy, she is part of Team LVDR. Her allusions/inspirations are Fiddler on the Roof, Rumi from K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Lindsey Stirling. I have listened to a LOT of Lindsey Stirling while nailing her character down as well as her fighting style. Her weapon? A reinforced violin and bow. I will hopefully be drawing those out soon, but I have a LOT of stuff to draw anyways.
The yellow guy is named Aurelius Medallion, his loved ones call him Lio, and his is the twin brother of Dusk. He is the more calm-tempered of the two, going into a less dangerous field. He wants to be a history teacher and an author, already publishing a few books. And a few more under a certain penname... He always repeats the phrase "if you do not learn from our history, you are doomed to repeat it." Him and Dusk argue how to learn from it; by taking action or teaching the next generation.
The last of the kiddos is Nishu Medallion. Nishu is 6 years younger than his older siblings, but has so much more energy than both combined. Much to Lio's dismay, he has been accepted into Oscuro to start his training as a Huntsman. For those who know, people around him say he looks just like his father. Even though he doesn't know why they have such sad smiles when they say it, he takes it in stride.
The last beautiful girl is named Sunny Medallion. Her allusions/inspirations are the story of the Sunchild, nomadic performers, and traditional Native American ritual dancers. A famous violinist hailing from Vacuo, she moved to Atlas to study under a multitude of tutors and became known as the Sun of Atlas. As she rose to fame, her songs became less classical and more rebellious, inspiring younger generations. Even with her sudden and tragic death over a decade before, her children live on in Vacuo with her mother, living between worlds and being forced to choose a path...
Or toe the razor's edge.
