i’m sorry but zukka is the atla ship that makes the most sense to me. there is a foundation of trust with each other. they are both stubborn and unwavering (until they need to waver). they are both older brothers with mom trauma. they are both considered to be “lesser” than others around them, regardless if their own strengths (they are simply measuring by the incorrect metrics; they are both entirely capable and strong). they are both children trapped in war, and they both have faltered on their stances many times. one is a magnificent inventor and a great swordsman, the other a powerful bender and an amazing swordsman. zuko finds sokka easier to talk to than the others (ie the tent scene), and sokka willingly jokes around with zuko as soon as he begins to trust him. they are the definition of enemies to friends to lovers, and they have ruined every other ship for me.
