the concept of oswald and ed being in the middle of utter destruction and war all over the city AND more than once and all they think about is each other is sooo fucking good. like. 3x22 all of gotham burning and everyone Going through it as the tetch virus spreads across the city meanwhile they are in a whole other corner obsessing over each other and having their Divorce Drama. 4x22 oswald fighting the league of shadows, watching the bridges get blown up and taking over city hall but in the middle of all of that he goes to check up on ed and saves his life. 5x11 ed abandoning his whole plan to run away and his own submarine thats his only way out of gotham & coming back to fight for it literally Only for oswald & oswald jumping in front of a grenade for him and losing his eye and they just spend the rest of their time together from there through it all...... like they are insane for all of that
