This is mildly blasphemous, but in the Toy Story universe do baby Jesus figurines from nativity sets think they’re actually Jesus, or are they just like. Babies

I mean, okay, like looking at the TSCU(toy story cinematic universe) Buzz Lightyear didn't know he wasn't actually buzz lightyear until he got told that and had his whole existential crisis, so I think toys think they are actually what they resemble until someone tells them that they're not that?? But like the other babies in the TSCU seem to have baby like intelligence, but with an ability to follow commands and a sense of morality? So I guess the technical answer is yes they would think they're Jesus, but like it's really part of the larger theological question "did baby Jesus know that he was Jesus or did he think he was just a normal baby."

There isn’t really any scripture to support whether or not baby Jesus knew that he was Jesus (there’s the bit in Luke where he’s 12 and already calling the temple the “house of my Father,” which you could take as him always knowing that he was Jesus) but even if he did there’s probably no functional way for a toy baby Jesus to express that

I guess toy baby Jesus would just be a mildly creepy baby. Never crying, just staring with his big ol’ eyes at the other Christmas decorations while he’s being toted along by toy Virgin Mary
