I’ve seen a lot of people talk about the legality of the Hans/Henry romance as a potential point of angst, but I honestly think both of them would have bigger feelings about the potential political/social implications of being together than the legal implications.
Hans was almost hanged for poaching and pretty much immediately starts poaching again, openly dismissing Henry’s concerns about it. Most players have Henry doing enough casual theft it could easily get him hanged many times over if he wasn’t such a smooth talker with the guards. Not to mention they both took up with a band of semi-noble bandits to fight against Sigismund.
There just were so many things that couldn’t gotten them hanged, I don’t think they would be overly concerned about throwing sodomy into the mix.
But on the other hand, Hans is clearly a True Believer in the medieval Class Divide as something Natural and Right, so he probably has some feelings about being with a blacksmith’s son, specifically.
