                frigid hand tightens around cloaks ,         distrustful eyes fall in respect to royalty ,       anxiety seeps from her pores .       small curtsy is offered to the princess ,       lest she be considered a meal fit for a dragon .       eyes lift and scan the camp she resides —       meekly and poor , the best a few fleeting villagers from asshai could procure in the northern lands .       she notes the general confusion and fear of the dragons from the commonfolk ,       but the lord of winterfell himself ——       warden of the north ,       as well ——       showed no fear .     the visions of purple and black flashing through the clouds contrasting the stark white of winter on the grounds was jarring ,       never mind the loud screeching and huffing of the wings of the beast on the ground .       sufficiently far enough away , medusa wonders how her tents were not taking flight with the flurry of snowflakes . she pleas fealty to the blacks ,       in negotiation with allowing her camp to settle at winterfell ;       however she has never seen a dragon so close .             ❛       of course ,       my lady .       if you may follow me out of this cold i can surely find you whom you're looking for .      ❜       hand extends out to the princess ,       urging her forward to their larger communal tent . she has no ill intent ,       but she'd rather not be frozen either .
