        𝐒𝐇𝐄’𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐊, 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐅. 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃 && 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐈𝐓.   days spent in her chambers pacing , hardly sleeping nor eating . . eyes wide with verging on delirium  &&  the dark circles to accompany. when step-sister enters, when she hears the creek of a door opening , visenya halts her pacing so that head , body , can tune to regard her.   no words are spoken for a moment before baela asks her for what happened—visenya wants to shake her head , to   𝓻𝓮𝓯𝓾𝓼𝓮𝓼   retelling simply for the sake of not having to relive it.   however, her heart tells her that baela ,  &&  rhaena , have just as much right to know the whole truth , no matter how ugly , as her mother had.   hands begin to absently play with themselves , a nervous habit.  ❝  he- . . aemond . .  ❞   a pause to inhale a deep breath, to focus her mind.   eyes raise from being cast on the floor, brows furrow with expression that’s pained.  ❝  aemond was chasing us, chasing luke.    the storm was-the storm hasn’t halted since before we arrived. i   landed first , i-i accompanied him inside as mother asked.  ❞   the dread sets in as heart races inside her rib cage.     ;      ❝  arrax must’ve felt luke’s fear for he didn’t obey  &&  shot a breath of fire toward vhagar.   even tessarion roared, feeling my strike of panic.  ❞   why ?   because some part of her might’ve fear what would be the outcome of such an action.   ❝  when we flew above the clouds into the eye , the calm , i looked down from above luke . . looking for aemond . .  &&  all i saw—  ❞   for a moment , visenya is   𝚄𝙽𝙰𝙱𝙻𝙴   to continue as tears bud in her violet gaze ! hands shake , chest tightening in remembrance.   ❝  he was there  &&  then he wasn’t.   gaping mouth having snapped arrax into pieces  &&  , i suppose , luke as well.  ❞   disassociation creeps up the back of her spine, but visenya blinks.  ❝  i screamed so loud . . i can still hear it , how it felt in my throat.  ❞

       𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒  &&  𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐒.   dimples burrow into pale cheeks, blood stands her lips , her chin , the tips of her fingers.    prey is slumped over on the ground , pale  &&  sweaty with a threadbare heartbeat.   head turns to regard the other , a silent nod of her head before it’s tilting to the side.   klaus had interrupted her dinner. his observation of her causes the vampire to let out an amused chuckle:  ❝  you don’t say . . ❞  hands gesture toward her blood splattered appearance with some jest to her tone.  ❝  what gave it away ?   was it my bloodied hands , splattered shirt , or the half dead corpse on the ground ?  “   not meant to antagonize him nor strike up some   𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓮𝓭   interaction, but to poke fun. wednesday knew who he was because who doesn’t ?   she knows he could kill her , that he might sometimes love doing it as much as her to humans.   brows furrow a little in mock irritation.  ❝  you interrupted my dinner, you know.  ❞   finger points toward the man on the ground,  ❝  he decided he wanted to . . . be pushy toward me.   said something i didn’t like,  &&  well—look at him now.  ❞  vampire takes a step forward,  ❝  wanna help me finish him off ?   should be enough left for a taste . .  ❞

       𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐓𝐎 the wondering eyes of other men  &&  lords attending this gathering.   eyes focused on glancing about the room , of looking for her husband ,  &&  mind hadn’t ever placed herself as someone whom was to be lusted after nor looked upon for her beauty.    floris wasn’t an idiot, she knew she was pretty ,  &&  yet a life time of three older sisters to contend with , to compare herself too despite knowing she shouldn’t , had left her with difficult feelings about herself.    (   that’s not to say that being wanted , to which was so obvious to her  &&  most likely to others , by aemond specifically didn’t rile up love or unbecoming ideas in her mind.   being wanted   𝙱𝚈 𝙷𝙸𝙼 ,  &&  knowing it , often left her lightheaded  &&  warm on the inside !   )      ;      eyes are upturned when she turned ‘round to face her husband, widening feeling the touch of his palm against her cheek  &&  then the tilt of her chin upward. her flush only darkens at his implications  &&  yet, she presses forward:   ❝  ideas, hm ?  what ideas ?  ❞   an arch brow follows, a smile to show off her dimples on freckled cheeks. their noses brush  &&  floris has to restrain herself from shuttering—why did he have such an effect on her ?   it was something she couldn’t figure out.  ❝  well, now that you mention it . . ❞   a gentle tease,   ❝  what do you think they stare for , hm ?  jealousy or desire or . . something else ?  ❞    teeth graze bottom lip before he leans down to press their lips together. floris   𝓶𝓮𝓵𝓽𝓼   into the embrace, leaning into him as he wrapped arms about her with a gentle humming noise after parting.   eyes remain on his,    ❝  it’s an excellent place to start ,  ❞   spoken with a smile.  ❝  won’t your mother have something to say about it being . . unbecoming in public ?  ❞

           𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐌 𝐒𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃, to visibly see the smile on his lips or the hop in his step.   eyes had watched with a sense of curiosity when vhagar lifted her head just at the approaching of her rider.   often times did mind wonder , idly or when the talk of dragons arose , what exactly connected dragon to their rider.   how was their bond so strong , how did the dragon seem to know what their rider felt or was thinking ?   mind can only say   𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬   is at work . . but, magic is touched by just about everything in this world.    it would be foolish to deny it.   the valyrian spoken sounds a little like gibberish to her ear , only being able to make out a few things here or there.     ;      when her hand is taken , a sense of confidence washed over her—feet walk slowly toward the great beast as she’s coaxed ahead, eyes widening as floris realizes she’s being watched as much as she’s doing the watching  !    palm is brought upward , forward , until it presses against scaly flesh. a gasp of surprise follows,   ❝  she’s so warm . . ❞   tone takes on a shake of wonder. eyes focus on vhagar now , entranced.   a deep breath,  ❝  rytsas, vhagar.  kirimvose syt rual nyke naejot renigon ao.  ❞    (    hello, vhagar. thank you for allowing me to touch you.    )     eyes flicker to aemond as she speaks valyrian, a   𝚂𝚄𝚁𝙿𝚁𝙸𝚂𝙴   she’s been working on.   before anything can be said, floris asks:   ❝  how does she know  ?   . . . how you feel about me ?  about anything ?  ❞  a brow arches as hand gently rubs , almost in a petting motion, against beasts rough skin.  ❝  i’ve only ever heard about the bond between a rider  &&  their dragon.  it’s always been rather curious to me.  ❞
