Senator Turnball who helped pass the amendment said: "it is only for those who are subject to our jurisdiction, meaning those who are subject to our laws, that we are giving citizenship to". Undocumented immigrants are fully subject to US law, and once again EVERY SINGLE court case for over 150 years has ruled that way.
