Males of Tumblr, my dudes, we need to talk.

I’ve seen more than a few posts from women on here basically telling us to stop being dicks. And it’s a real problem. I don’t care what your personal experience is with women. I don’t care about your feelings on what their place is and what they owe you. Their place is wherever they choose, even if it’s at a man’s feet, and they don’t owe you shit.

Treat them with respect and you’ll get it back. If they don’t message you back, tough, move on. If they do, talk to them like human beings. If they express a desire for something more assertive from you, give them that. If they haven’t asked you for a dick pic, don’t send them one. It’s not difficult. You actually have to work harder to be an asshole than to be a good person.

By the way, I’m a guy. You’re giving me and the good ones a bad name out there. Stop.
