Seems it's once again time for the annual resurgence of my Naruto phase

Tsunade has trauma from seeing blood and it is something she needs to get over to be able to fight orochimaru , everytime a man gets traumatised he gains a new power up (yes I'm talking about uchihas mainly yes there were female uchihas but they fucking died to give itachi and sasuke new power ups)

when asuma died it kurenai the woman he loved and the mother of his daughter was sidelined as pls take care of her shikamaru and like how is the 16yr old boy taking care of an adult woman , why did we not see how she felt , what about ino , she is the team medic and she probably blamed herself the most for his death because she was not good enough , why was her trauma ignored, why was she standing to the side in the kakuzu fight

What about hinata when neji died , why didn't she get to grief her cousin and instead we got one of the worst writing choices in "naruto kind hand is so big and strong"(this was the moment that made 12yr old me hate hinata before I decided that ignoring Canon is the way) , what about tenten , where was she when her teammate died or when her teacher basically half died

What about ankos whole orochimaru trauma , she was 13 when he gave her the cursed seal , she was even younger when she was manipulated by the only adult in her life , why is it ignored when we got kimmimaros whole life story , what about karin because because growing up around orochimaru is not really the healthiest mentally

What about kushina who's whole childhood trauma from her destroyed village to her bullying to her kidnapping was used as a buildup for minakushi while never being talked about seriously
