❝You find yourself in an enclosed facility, the rooms bright and draped in technicolor. The walls are adorned with fliers, posters, propaganda— all welcoming you to a place you had never intended to visit… and you cannot escape. Every exit, window, and mousehole is sealed, effectively keeping the world outside… or perhaps, keeping you inside. Not even the building’s “Happy Days” charm or the faint showtunes slipping through its corners could hide your painfully evident reality— This was quarantine.❞
✘ Despair Quarantine is a submission-based, roleplay group; the game’s setting and concept were both loosely inspired by Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. Naturally, there will be plenty of differences to accommodate the Dangan Ronpa format and game-play. The game consists of 20 students per warehouse (including mod characters)— varied with different personalities, backstories, and talents. It will be up to the players to discover what exactly happened to them, who is behind the game of “Mutual Killing”, and how they can escape from the enclosed warehouse. Whether they choose to work together or slowly become victims of despair, their freedom, and aspirations are in their own hands. ✘ Applications are now currently open until June 27th, 11:59pm EST!
