Haven't been super active on here, but have definitely been creative in the meantime. This summer, in addition to doing volunteer work and a couple classes, I've decided to focus on getting writing done and hopefully getting something published.

Made a bluesky to document it and build a "social media presence" for myself, so follow me there if you want to see me show my bare ass (metaphorically) and document the process

#wanted to put more contrast between the host and parasite #but unfortunately i wound up in the emergency room for a weekend (allergies)#and my 2 day extension was taken up by an exam and doctors appointments lmao #oh well #i think they look cool regardless #art tag #almost wrote ant tag lol

if you are a professional in the arts who, for whatever reason, have your entire platform based on Tumblr and the destruction of Tumblr would mean the destruction of your livelihood, please take the 18 hour update as a sign to diversify. Tumblr is already so treacherous with its seemingly random bans and unchecked auto-flagging, it is very important to have multiple platforms or at least an established backup, so that if it ever does truly become unusable you have somewhere to go without having to start all over again

Sorry for not posting much lately, I’ve been busy with work and personal stuff, including an upcoming spinal x-ray I’ve been waiting over a decade for and the angriest doctor I’ve ever met in my life

Alright, another update since i am now 27.

3 year later i have scoliosis, kyphosis, and degenerative disc disease. I have gone through 2 physiotherapists and am on track to be referred to a pain clinic in november because the second round of physio did not help. There is a strong possibility that in tests for said clinic they will find other problems with my spine because the pain is, in fact, peogressing. Pain killers no longer help, i wear a brace semi-regularly, and i injure myself weekly because i can no longer differentiate between regular chronic pains and “you need to stop” pains. I am changing careers and going back to school in part because i can no longer physically work in my chosen field.

My father still does not understand how this happened.

Update to my computer situation:

Computer is still crashing and other aspects of it are degrading rapidly so im not able to use it for long (more than an hour sometimes) periods, which means drawing is increasingly difficult.

I've bought a tablet for school so i can at least survive the semester, but between the computer and schoolwork, im not going to be posting for quite a while. I dont know when ill be able to afford a new computer, so until then this blog is on hiatus

Im still online and active on my other blogs, just not this one. I'll see you later space cowboy 🫡
