     𝐡𝐞’𝐬  𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲  𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝  𝐨𝐟  𝐚𝐥𝐥  𝐨𝐟  𝐢𝐭 , sipping  at  his  glass  of  sparkling  water  that  must  have  been  prepared  on  the  same  countertop  as  something  remotely  fruit  flavored , while  watching  with  half  interest  at  the  dancing  figures . felix  isn’t  a  fan  of  balls  &  his  patience  is  already  being  consumed  rather  abundantly  with  everyone  asking  to  dance  –  felix  doesn’t  dance .      well , he  could  if  he  really  wanted  to . did  he  really  want  to ? part  of  him  thought  it  would  be … fun  to  join  in  on  the  festivities , the  other  part  felt  heavy  resilience  against  such  frivolity  when  he  could  instead  learn  to  dance  with  a  blade .     still , seeing  how  everyone  enjoyed  it  all  – … especially  the  house  leaders , who  naturally  dominated  the  field . speaking  of  which , felix  has  noticed  claude  taking  a  break , and  a  thoughtful  noise  escapes  under  his  breath .

   there’s  something  so  ephemeral  and  grandiose  to  a  fault  about  regal  events.  claude  finds  himself  in  the  middle  of  it,  taking  them  in  as  if  he  could  call  them  his  own.  never  one  to  reject  how  good  for  morale  these  illusions  were  nonetheless,  he  dances  his  way  person  to  person,  those  who  ask  and  those  who  are  so  quiet,  they’re  nearly  wallflowers--------  and  speaking  of,  one  just  regarded  him.  𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺  𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦,  might  claude  add.
