eva is just suck a fascinating character bc she’s just so ruthless. I mean that neutrally. she sees the line between where she is, where she will be, and who and what she needs to get there. she knows she’s destroying herself and her relationships. She knows she’s choosing the lesser evil. She knows what she has to do to incite the least cost- but its always there. There is no good option. she is ruthless because she can afford nothing else. I think that the person who will be to Eva Stratt as Grace is to Dream depends on their relationship with Dream. And the circumstances that force desperation.
