Honestly though like its fucking offensive how people still try to claim that “hard work” is what determines your economic fate. Like its not like its a secret that the most back-breaking labor is categorically not the most high-paying, really its almost the precise opposite. People bent over for 12 hours a day, in the sun, picking vegetables are literally the lowest paid people in the country. No one can claim ignorance of that.
