My deepest darkest secret is sometimes ill randomly feel like listening to the shittiest pop country music ever like florida georgia line luke bryan type hot garbage .. Like i know it sucks but it reminds me of my hick ass midwestern hometown where people act like theyre from the south despite our state being very much not in the south

been watching so much greys anatomy with my sister and one of my favorite things is how they have to explain stuff to a non medical audience via the dialogue so u get doctors talking to each other like She has a pulmonary embolism….THERES A BLOOD CLOT IN AN ARTERY TO HER LUNG! Like i know theres no way around writing it that way without confusing people but it just delights me to imagine explaining a PE to a surgeon

realized today that one thing i kind of miss about my surgery rotations is just the constant low level anxiety u have as a med student on a surgical service/OR … like ur always like fuck i gotta be up at 430am i have to read about this anatomy in case i get #pimped if im given a Task during a surgery i have to absolutely not fuck it up.. a little bit of fear is good for the soul from time to time i think. really keeps u on your toes
