first time in years

blue white and pink

the blue was runny

more liquid than water

barely holding pigment

needs too meny coats

and yet

it's blue

the white is like glue

half screwed lid

miracle it's not solid

the lid squeaks when I put it on

and yet

it's white

the pink is not pink

lost in my sisters room

iridescent lilac, barley any left

sparkly and goop

and yet

it's pink

I painted my nails

first time in years

and yet

it's me.

so I popped open the music video right? 'I haven't watched it in a while' I thought 'it will be fun' I said

anyways I now have a weird not quite flight-or-fight reflex to Jort Storm , but like mixed with that liminal sensation you get when you set a song to be your alarm and then you hear the song normally and your brain kinda short circuits
