I’ve always been told I’m too girly, princess thrown at me as an insult. that I cared too much about my looks because I cared about my hair. that no one would love me and nobody wants a princess. the world tries to crush little femme souls from the start

that in itself is the problem, but I also think there’s no recognition of the value queer femininity has to offer. My feminine expressions of affection aren’t valued in cishet society. crafts, fixing your hair, packing your lunchbox with cute notes, running a bath and taking care of my partner. none of these things are really appreciated by cishet society.

also cishet society functions on the assumption of access to unrestricted access to my body, there is no value placed in giving myself to someone. it’s the same way cishet society can’t comprehend stone identities, bc they see the recipient as selfish
