Bruce can and will lurk in any and all JL group comms, Batfamily “siblings only” encrypted chats, and even the rudimentary chat function YJ came up with on a bunch of old flip phones, and while his aura alone is enough to keep people nervous, nothing brings a conversation to a screeching halt quite like Batman dropping a singular 👀 into the chat.

Bruce being like that one teacher who hates/mistrusts you because they've taught your older sibling. Jon comes over to hang out with Damian all the time and that's OK but when they started dating, Bruce was on watch from the outset because he experienced Kon. It doesn't matter that Jon is Jon, there will be no funny business.

I love the idea of the Bats being bougie. Yes, they mostly live simply enough and enjoy a normal enough life but they've also lived rich now and there's at least a few things that they've grown to love. For Dick, it's the ability to travel without worrying about being moved on or about costs of anything, the boy enjoys an all expenses paid (by Bruce) holiday. For Jason, it's is a specific brand of coffee flown in from Vietnam that goes for like $70 a tin, the expensive chocolate he likes to snack on. For Babs, it's unlimited TV packages, streaming services and and the WiFi connection. For Duke, it's the food, the boy is a foodie at heart and has tables at every major restaurant, cafe and bistro, his name is on lists. For Tim, it's the unlimited wardrobe, the boy loves his baggy drip for every day, his fine cut suits for galas, his accessories, his trainers, his Italian loafers, the boy loves a good wardrobe. And for Bruce, it's a specific type of bedding, the man can't sleep on cheaper mattresses or different pillows, he can only sleep on sheets of certain fabric, the man doesn't care about luxury that much but thread count? That's non negotiable.

jason and tim can be brothers but they can’t be close because that’s super boring. jason has tim saved under “SCAM LIKELY” and tim doesn’t have jason’s number saved at all. beyond the resentment and the history there they just wouldn’t fuck with each other, endless cycle of ragebaiting and ragebaited switching back and forth whenever they have to interact with one another for more than like 20 minutes at a time and honestly that’s being generous. tim’s friends would resent jason for him being violent and awful but at this point tim would just resent him for being ridiculously irritating. BEST CASE SCENARIO would have them in a tom and jerry dynamic but without the underlying feeling of camaraderie and interdependence that tom and jerry share because tim and jason could go the rest of their lives without seeing each other and truly honest to god would not give a shit. this got really insanely long for no reason idk what my problem is today no one cares
