Life has been pretty hectic these few last months, but everything is alright because I have my books with me ❤️

as much as i love medical school, i really missed doing nothing all day but reading long novels, plays and essays on art and philosophy and such.

I had quite the surprise in my school email today! Somehow, I received a $250 grant. Whoo! I have two options on how to get it. Apply it to my outstanding tuition bill or receive it as a stipend. It was so tempting to take it as a stipend and put it toward my iPad, but ultimately the right thing to do was to put it toward my tuition. Im fortunate enough to have parents that, even though I’m 32, offered to pay for my schooling. If they didn’t, there is no way I could afford to go back to school right now.

School is really putting on the pressure. I’ve written tons of essays over the past two weeks. But it’s all okay because I have all As so far. I’m so thrilled.

Hard work and sticking to a strict medication schedule has really paid off.

I have so much content but I’m afraid it won’t be good enough for you guys. I think I’m getting the hang of my new schedule and my lab grade is okay again at least. I also had an assignment about procrastination and I panicked thinking that maybe I’m a really bad procrastinator then realised that I was doing the assignment early because I have worked so hard to avoid procrastination.

Don’t be so hard on yourselves.
