I know they love me, I know they care about me, I just feel like an outsider

Maybe that’s why I put extra effort trying to please them and being their emotional companion

And it grew since my grandfather died, because it made me get disconnected from my mom’s family side

And I never felt part of my dad’s family side

Sometimes I feel so alone
