SĂŠbastien worked in several IT departments, specifically in infrastructure clusters in the automotive sector within the leading players as Renault, Nissan etc... The Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation organizes and conducts scientific research and technology development and delivers innovative field-tested science and technology solutions to address the defence and security needs of the Alliance.
The CMRE Research and Engineering Division supports the execution of the projects through the conception, design, development and construction of state of the art in computing, networking, modelling & simulation, ensuring security and compliance with relevant NATO policies and regulations.In this context, the CMRE needed highly qualified professionals to provide technical support to scientists during the planning and execution of project-related activities.GLOBAL Technologies, renowned for its experience and strong reactivity, was one more time capable to provide skilled and experienced professionals in very short time. Our consultants have a broad knowledge of Information Technologies and their integration, to implement and maintain project-specific CIS systems. Their duty will be mainly performed on the NATOâs research vessels, Leonardo and Alliance, in the CMRE laboratories or in other places depending on projects related requirements.
New mission for GLOBAL Technologies on UNDP site in Africa
GLOBAL Technologies, known for its responsiveness and leadership in such situation even in the most remote areas had to provide Airbus with a local Field Engineer to perform the migration of the 3.8 meter antenna and the installation of the NEWTEC MDM3100 Series modem on the UNDP Site in Bangui (Central African Republic) for the next day.Once again, the mission was successfully completed and within less than 48 hours. Â
GLOBAL Technologies gives support to Airbus with UNDP African project
Airbus holds a contract with the UNDP for the installation and migration of VSAT Satellite antennas all over Africa.GLOBAL Technologies was asked to provide them with a local Field Engineer to perform the migration of the 3.8 meter antenna on SES5 Satellite and the installation of the NEWTEC 3000 Series modem on the UNDP Site in Mauritania for the following week.
The migration was successfully completed within a very short deadline and the Group satisfied his clientâs expectations.

This week can celebrate the completion of an additional Ismailia radar.The whole installation is due for the end of July and the group team is still working in order to meet this challenge.

Emergency repatriation from Afghanistan handled by GLOBAL Technologies for one of its consultants.
A major accident occurred on RSM Afghanistan site in May.One of GLOBAL Technologies consultant, involved in the project for several years suffered a presumed heart attack. Used to emergency situations in hard-to-reach areas, the group mobilized its network in order to intervene as fast as possible.A regulator doctor from the American Hospital in Neuilly coached by phone the local medical team and monitored a remote diagnostic.Â
Given the seriousness of the consultantâs condition, he asked for a medical repatriation asap from the American base of Bagram. GLOBAL Technologies took over the overall evacuation, from the aircraft rental to the admission in Bucharest Hospital, in less than 48 hours.Thanks to reactivity, crisis situation management and support from its partners, GLOBAL Technologies could provide continuous service to its customer under any circumstances and on the other hand, guaranty high security level to its consultants on the field.

Held annually, this conference draws high-level defense experts from NATO and companies as GLOBAL Technologies, closely involved into NATO projects, the allied militaries and academia.
This year, over 500 senior representatives attended the conference to discuss the latest technological developments and collaborate on NATO C4ISR business opportunities and major procurements. NITEC featured prominent speakers, domain-relevant panel discussions, collaboration-focused breakout sessions and a highly-regarded industry and technology exhibition.Â
This year's conference focused on Applications, Education & Training in C4ISR. Drawing on key takeaways from the Wales Summit, the conference explored the activities, challenges, and successes unique to education and training applications while still addressing broader NATO priorities and initiatives in the C4ISR domain. There was particular focus on addressing the special challenges facing innovative enterprises like GLOBAL Technologies.
