Olson’s Orchard in Sunnyvale is a small parcel that shows what the Valley of Heart’s Delight was like before it became Silicon Valley; before the air and water became polluted and before it was was paved over in concrete and asphalt.
As a photographer, I find the special places of beauty that most people drive by and never stop to experience.

I just added a new piece of art to Saatchi Art! San Jose's Sunsprite Rose. A beautiful Sunsprite rose photographed at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden in the heart of Silicon Valley. I'm still highly allergic to roses, so it is especially nice to get a good rose photo. My photography is heavily influenced by still-life masters.
I just added a new piece of art to Saatchi Art! Sunsprite Rose In San Jose. A beautiful Sunsprite rose photographed at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden in the heart of Silicon Valley. I'm still highly allergic to roses, so it is especially nice to get a good rose photo. My photography is heavily influenced by still-life masters.

I just added a new piece of art to Saatchi Art! Silicon Valley Wildflowers. I grew up very allergic to anything that bloomed, so during spring, I was often indoors, even though I lived in a beautiful rural and forested valley where there were more cows than humans. Although I'm still allergic to them to a degree, I can at least be around flowers long enough to photograph them. Perhaps it was my longing to be able to stop and smell the roses that made me a flower photographer. Whatever it is, flowers fascinate me. These flowers were photographed in Silicon Valley. I don't know what they are called.
