There is a terrible wheezing sound that rattles his chest as he takes deep breaths in and out. He had been injured before. The whole crew had. But this was by far his worst. Gavin kept an arm wrapped around his middle as he leaned against Michael’s side. He turned to say something, and was surprised when his lips were caught in a kiss. Smiling, he returned it, bringing his free hand up to rest gently on the other’s cheek. When they broke apart, the smartass in Gavin couldn’t stop himself from poking a bit of fun at his best friend.

Turning to Michael, Gavin can’t help but give him a curious look. Tanned fingers push the golden framed sunglasses to rest atop his head. It was honestly a wonder they didn’t end up lost in his hair some days. “What do you mean?” He leaned in a little closer, shaking his head. “You’re one of the best and most genuine people I kn-”

The smirk on the other’s face was telling. Gavin being sentimental would not be soon forgotten. He could hear the teasing that would happen already. “Michael. Was that a joke, ya bellend? Did you really just pun at me? I’m honestly appalled.”
