so uh, for the past few hours, instead of homework, i’ve been working on this thing

it’s shit

and it’s not nearly done - i need to change the speed and there’s still 8 more frames and then i want to color or at least shade it

A broken cry comes through the monitor on the bedside table, startling both Stiles and Derek awake.

Stiles groans, rubs a hand over his face, and says, “I will give you fifteen bucks and a massage to any body part of your choosing if you handle that.”

“No deal,” Derek says immediately. “She’s teething.”

“All the more reason the big, bad werewolf should check on her.”

“That would be a good argument if Janie were a werewolf, but she’s not.”

The baby continues to cry through the monitor, and it starts to make Stiles feel like a bad, neglectful babysitter.

“Fine,” he huffs, kicking off the blankets and wriggling out of the bed. He makes a pitiful sound when his feet hit the cold floor, to which Derek mumbles in some smug, victorious way. “You’re so on my shit list for this.”

Derek just yawns and says, “Uh-huh,” as he’s falling back asleep.
