walking on toes was the earliest one i can remember but it's not that known. later on though, i'd start covering my ears and hiding under the desk when my classmates would start getting too loud, having aggressive meltdowns over sensory issues and had trouble making friends. i wasn't bullied per se but i was an outcast in my class and never had any close friends. even if it seemed like i did, my "best friend" would still have closer friends and eventually cut me off for "being too weird". even now that i've finally found a friend group i kinda feel left out in it despite my friends (hopefully) not meaning it.
i'm still surprised my meltdowns weren't a clear sign. i attacked a classmate once when i was nine because she was kicking my chair but she didn't report it. back then i was happy and apologised to her for what happened but now that i think about it, maybe her telling the teacher would help me get a professional diagnosis.
i also yelled at my other classmate for kicking my chair in the library when i was ~9. three teachers saw it and they didn't investigate, they just tried to console me.
after these two meltdowns (and a couple more that didn't involve me attacking anyone) i started putting pressure on managing my anger and it's still difficult but i manage to not harm people and let myself react in private. i'm kinda mad that my teachers didn't try to help me because some of my issues were incredibly visible.
