corries who hit the senate on deployment and find out they only learned like a thousand languages and need to learn so many more, so they just sort of get into the habit of learning any language they come across because who knows when they’ll need it. they find an old diplomatic droid that is way less annoying than C3PO and it helps them study and really likes its new life in the corrie offices.
maybe it like hangs out in the mess hall and corries exhaustedly have conversations with it in random languages and it helps them to integrate the stuff they learn in their jerry rigged flash training modules.
anyway Fox keeps coming across this swirly script in the chancellor’s second office and is like damn we need to somehow learn this shit too? and ends up learning sith script but also some of the study materials they found for the flash training were rituals that sort of imprint in their minds and weird shit starts to happen
also eventually Fox is able to read the shit on Palps’ second desk and is like ‘damn, we have to kill this guy’
