Just noticed something about AOS lore

Kharadron Overlords were born because of the necessity to fight back a Tzeench invasion... They overcame this massacre and evolved into one of the weirdest factions in the realms. They think that they defeated Tzeench and strived for a better future, but if you really think about it... The Chaos God won. He CHANGED them, drastically. He attacked a bunch of duardin miners and he turned them (indirectly) into a steampunk sky pirate type of society. The Kharadon are happy because they "won" (They survived), but Tzeench is happier because he WON (He CHANGED them forever).

Before the kill team stuff gets revealed, I need to put down my predictions so I can feel cool. I have never been wrong in my half-baked theories. Ever.

A. Wilderness setting. Probably a dense forest setting, but caves/canyons are also possible. The Imperium has to be somewhat involved in everything, so we're probably talking about Catachan veterans here. They'll be opposed by 'Nids, specifically Lictors/a new lictor stand-in. B. Secret-base aesthetic. Half-way between Into the Dark and Octarius. First kit will be Mechanicus vs. Necrons, some kind of new Skitarii veteran and something really wacky on the Necrons side.

WarFest 40k reveals thoughts

god i wish i had friends who liked space marines that i could split this with

all of the tyranids models look excellent, neurogaunts are almost cute enough to make me want to build a horde army, we've got some great monster mash going on, and the space marines all look like very very space marines.

still pessimistically hopeful about what "free rules" will mean long term, everyone gets free rules and datacards at release as we already knew.

pretty happy about the armies set for new codexes, i've always been partial to dark angels, and obviously i like orks (currently trying to build a beast snagga cavalry army). also dig admech, and my best gaming friend is a hardcore necrons stan. only codex they don't have that i'd like is death guard, since i already have about 1000 pts of those

overall, a bit light, but very good reveal! 9/10
