legitimately horrible time period to have basic pattern recognition skills
You don't need to know all about history to have basic pattern recognition skills or fall for propaganda. I'm watching my family, who enjoys history, and knows all about it, not see the flashing red " THIS IS GENOCIDE" signs with audio because they have been spoon fed so much propaganda disguised as history. They've banned my 10 yo brother from yt to "keep him from learning naughty words and not get infected by the woke mind virus" and so luckily, he hasn't been able to absorb extreme amounts of red pill content but were watching the news and he starts rambling on WWII facts during the ad breaks, then then trump comes on with the speaking ability of someone worse than the 102 yo in a nursing home rambling on about how hes gonna get these aliens off the street yadda yadda. and my brother, who knows so much about WWII says "Yeah! Get them Illegal immigrants off the streets!". Im not encouraging him to ignore politics but you really cant see it? Ive seen it since his first term? Hes only been shown content from the news and from our super religious redneck school, so yeah he probably doesn't know how Hitler studied the Uk and US camps for natives for inspiration.
What I'm trying to say is, you can know everything about history and the political climate and still fall for propaganda. You can know everything about history and still not have basic pattern recognition skills.
