But the finders ( Fritz and Spitz ) are very clearly intended to be children, even if they don't allow specific ages, LEGO still allows them specific age ranges. Bonzle is confirmed to be thousands of years old, but she's still assuming an obvious dependant role under two guardians. And you don't need to be an actual child to be another adult's adopted kid 🤷‍♀️

To explain, cause I think I wrote too quickly/unclear what I was getting at. It’s not about the kids (the two who are actually kids - I was shocked people saw Bonzle as a kid - she seemed like the nutty aunt to me in the first finders episode, an equal to Cole and Geo. But I also see Geo as a 60 year old hippy). Fans keep assigning years passed and ages to the 6 ninja themselves. If they commit to Cole-as-dad, then they’re committing to him being a full on adult. Lego isn’t willing to do that any more than they’ve been willing to make Jay and Nya old enough to get married, or put an actual age range on how much Lloyd jumped up, or… they’re even working against the idea of the young ninja as the OG’s kids by bringing in all of their parents (crazy how Kai-Wildfyre people forget that Heatwave is her dad not Kai). Just like lego themselves have never called Kai Lloyd’s or Nya’s dad. They all live in this nebulous cartoon-age of generic young adult that’s not quite adult but definitely not kid.

The writer puts the ninja as 5 to 7 years older than Arin/sora/etc in his head. (According to his what was it? Blusky?) That’s as close as we are to DR ages. I doubt they as a kids show want to push the idea of potentially 20/22 year old parents. Jeez I wouldn’t want my kids to have kids that young.

Hmm, I see, I guess I forgot they haven't even confirmed the 6 ninja are adults ( even though it's so obvious and confirming it would have no drawbacks towards LEGO still that I can see 😅 Like they're trying to not anger fans by not confirming the ages, even though they anger us in other ways without any care. It's so bizzare lol ). To me, Bonzle always read as a bored teenager, until other personality traits were offered of course, and an interest in bones is on par for a skeleton ) and I've always thought Kai and Wyldfyre had more of a older sibling/younger sibling dynamic ( though the fics have been making me warm to the idea ) so I never really thought about it that way before. Thanks for the insight ^^' even though it makes me dislike the LEGO co even more-
