Kai listens to Fall Out Boy and you can't change my mind. MSKWYDITD( Light Em Up ) is his favorite song and he's totally referencing it whenever he says "FIYAHH!"

It's the only band in his music taste that's actually good, debatably. Everything else he listens to is hot garbage and the other ninja never let him choose the playlist.

Okay the "basketball" portion of the fight with Egalt and Rontu is like, so freaking cool. I LOVE the animation so much ahhhh

Lloyd basically hitting a slamdunk is hilarious ( if not undeniably awesome ), and Kai. . . Kai~ the way he yeeted that last boulder into the bucket, the ANIMATION on that as well... you can FEEL the force and impact with how its executed ❤️❤️❤️

Side note, Egalt without his hat looks super weird lol

Annnnnd angry Kai is SO back!!! ❤❤❤ I like the confirmation that despite being chilled out now cuz of that exercise ( I'm guessing Wu taught him that right after Season 10, that's about where people started complaining his character had changed ) he still needs those old coping mechanisms sometimes.

I headcanon that Nya used to wear make up frequently.

Since she couldn't afford that much and didn't want to spend too much time on it, she would usually just wear a bit of foundation, maybe some blush, and if she was feeling fancy, some fun eyeshadow. Of course, she loved her signature red lipstick- it made her feel more confident.

During Skybound, with all of the awful misogyny she was dealing with, Nya slowly stopped wearing it because if they weren't asking about her love life, makeup seemed to be all anyone cared about. Plus, as the Water Ninja, she didn't want to deal with finding water-proof makeup. However, Nya did continue to wear her lipstick because putting it on every morning still gave her a bit of confidence (and it was easily hidden beneath her mask). She would smile at herself in the mirror and remind herself that she was strong and beautiful and that she was doing it for all of the little girls out there who didn't feel strong and beautiful.

At the end of Season 6, Nadakhan forced Nya to wear heavy makeup for the wedding, and she couldn't stand any makeup for a long time afterwards. The brushes and the creams just took her right back to the wedding. She swapped out her lipstick for a clear lipgloss, because she still wanted that morning ritual of giving herself confidence. And it came with the plus of keeping her lips hydrated.

I could maybe see her starting to use a bit of really light makeup after reconciling with her mother. Maya helps her get great skin care treatment after returning from the Sea (to heal the parts of her body that was damaged in the process) and it's a way for the two of them to connect after everything that came between them.

Yes, yes please.

Because yeah, she wore red lipstick before so she can't despise it too much, even if she did object to the kabuki makeup in ToE. I also headcanon she covered up her mole with foundation, but after HoT she stopped and grew out her hair, both so she wouldn't look like Delara anymore. It gave her her own identity after the horrors of Skybound.
