A fan favorite monster has for now become a permanent presence in Awful Hospital: Seriously the Worst Ever.

The “Slobs” in the comic are pretty much based on how bad I felt as a kid for things like the virus mutants in Resident Evil and stuff. They all seemed like dumb, innocent animals and nobody in-universe in any horror series ever seemed to feel sad killing them??

Inktober/Char design day 14

A brutal murder in the cemetery; literally brother against brother, betrayal at its finest. Supposedly, it was only after this that the graveyard Pieta statue began ‘crying’, though only the most superstitious attributed that to anything but the wear of the rain. She’s old and broken now, but sometimes–and only sometimes, when the town sees a crime where a victim has their trust broken in the most horrible way–those who live near the cemetery could swear they see her move. Sliding, slipping, slithering through the grass. Drops of marble and little patches of stone-covered grass. Someone being clumsy with a bucket of cement, they’d brush off, pretending not to see the perfect smoothness of the material. Pretending not to have heard of the sudden disappearance that surely had occurred during the night.
