“I’m not afraid to talk to Chester. Unlike you, clearly. He’s a big boy he can take it.” 

Clayton looks over to the other kingsman and smirks. 

“Perhaps you should tell him, since you brought it up.”

“I’m not starting at you any certain way! I mean…just in a normal way,” he answered, before seemingly thinking better of his reply and adding belatedly and obviously lying, “I mean, I wasn’t staring.”

“Your lies need work, as well.” Gideon was far from offended, of course. He was used to being stared at. 

            “I didn’t ask for your comments, or your opinion, so keep both to yourself next time, and if you ever call me faerie again, I’ll rip your tongue out and nail it to the wall.”

            “On what planet is it your job to tell me what I should be wearing?”

“Our world. Don’t be ridiculous. It’s a lifestyle anyone can get used to given the opportunity. Let him be and he’ll show you.”

“Hm.” Gideon smiled, amused at Galahad’s insistence. Not that he was surprised, but it was...nice to have a dissenting opinion every once in awhile, even if that opinion was wrong.

“Which is why you lot have a grenade lighter… my mistake.” He can’t help the tinge of annoyance laced into his tone. “What is it you were expecting? Other than something that is completely illogical.” 

“French cuisine is always a sensual first choice.”
