girls night ( cora & gia )

A soft smile fell on her lips. It was strange to say that Gia was one of the few people to calm her down. She really shouldnât have been able to. They were just friends. That was it. Cora hadnât expressed anything pass that and yet they seemed to be trailing in another direction. Whatever, it didnât matter. Cora didnât come here to mull over her emotions. Instead, she needed to kill the ball of stress that built its kingdom between her shoulder blades. Unwittingly enough, this was the best idea she could come up with. She wasnât eager to pounce on the party scene. She definitely didnât want to chance running into any of the problems she had at the gym. The decision was easy.Â
Brushing back her freshly curled hair, the brunette tug down her shirt to show a bit more cleavage. With a swift knock on the door, Cora waited until the door swung open to reveal a charming smile. In her other hand was a bottle of wine. If anything, it would be easy to use Giaâs supplies and watch a movie with her. It never crossed her mind that Gia may have been busy. She just assumed there would always be time for her.Â
âI need some down time. Girls night?â
âYes!â The answer escapes her mouth before she can even actually process what her plans for the night were. Whatever plans sheâd made for herself to waste the night away paled in comparison to spending more time with Cora. It was easy to just cancel all plans and open the door wider so that Cora could come in. Her room was her usual mess of homework and blankets (she never thought to clean it when people werenât there) but it wasnât anything new to Cora. At least it was comfortable enough to watch TV on. âGirls night, totally.â
She was totally unprepared, hair in a messy bun, stained sweatpants in, but she certainly wasnât going to say no because she was under-dressed. âDid you have any ideas besides the wine?â
