01. In an argument(cw suicide mentions)
âYou donât get it,â Will yells, frustrated and annoyed and just a little bit drunk. He shows up at Andrewâs room after weeks of not speaking with a lot of on his mind. Andrew lets him in, because theyâre Will and Andrew an thatâs how these things go, but itâs tense until Will opens his mouth.
âItâs not about you Will,â Andrew mutters out, and it just makes him more angry.
âYou texted me that you loved me,â Will practically spits out, and itâs good that theyâre getting this out, âAnd then you tried to kills yourself. So yeah, Drew, this is a little bit fucking about it.â
And then itâs silence. Will angrily chugs another beer and Andrew bites his tongue instead of suggesting water instead. In any other situation this would be good, because Will is being honest about his emotions, but right now all heâs doing is making Andrew feel like shit, and itâs not cool.
âI love you, you asshole. I love you so much and you didnât let me say it back. What kind of brother does that?â
Willâs crying, now. Itâs sloppy and emotional and Andrew kind of cries too, as they sit side by side. He loves Will, like a brother, and seeing him crying over him? Itâs a lot.
âI love you, too.â
âDonât ever leave me again.â
âOkay,â Andrew answers back, because itâs what Will needs to hear.
Will groans, rolling his hips up. He bottoms out at the back of Andrewâs neck, feeling the warmth of his exhale against his stomach. Will pulls back and slams his cock back into Andrewâs mouth. The impromptu blowjob has been going on for fifteen minutes but Andrew isnât complaining, not even when Will fucks his mouth without any kind of abandon and makes him choke a couple of times.
âFuck, Drew. I love your mouth. I love you.â
His eyes roll back into his head when he comes, and of course Andrew swallows. He can feel the smirk on Drewâs face when he pulls back, looking sleepy and smug and ready for a nap.
âThat was pretty gay dude,â Andrew says with a chuckle. Will looks over at him, chest rising and falling. He canât help but laugh.

send đ for my muse to find a box with an engagement ring in it
It wasnât anything fancy or a big surprise at all when it happened. It was just a normal day, nothing different, nothing grand, but it was special. Dom was in the kitchen, making breakfast for Andrew and him, both of them constant early risers. (but Domâs still earlier) Dom was already up boiling water when Andrew strolled in, giving him a morning peck on the lips before sitting down by the counter, âG'Mornin.â Dom smiled as a greeting back while his hands continued to work, âMorning. Youâre a chirper today, whatâs the occasion?â
âOh nothing really, woke up on the right side of bed.â Andrew stupidly grinned and Dom squinted at him with a suspicious look before turning back to making simple sandwiches. âYou rolled and fell off it didnât you.â
âNo, please.â
He rolled his eyes just looking at Domâs back, his hand fiddling with a box under the table, a smile just slapped on his face as he watched his boyfriend work.
âWell hey, Iâm glad youâre having a good mor-..â Dom turned back to Andrew with the plate of peanut butter and banana sandwiches to be greeted by the little box on the table right in front of him. He raised an eyebrow at Andrew and all he got in return was a dumb grin, waiting for him to open it up. He pushed the plate towards Andrew before carefully picking up the box, more or less guessing what it was as he gave a smile back before prying it open to see the ring. He found it strange, that Andrew was doing it now, while they were still in Hudson, and there were so many other things to think about first like what happens after Hudson, where theyâd be assigned to, how long theyâd live.. Dom tried to push aside the same old worries he had when they first got together. The same old worries that almost broke his most important friendship apart.
Dom stayed quiet as Andrew began speaking with the spark in his eyes, âI know itâs pretty early and we got a couple more months to go before we graduate but I just thought you know, nothing like the present right? And it be nice to.. just let people know that youâre mine, y'know?â Dom couldnât help but laugh reaching over to lace his fingers with his, he wouldnât need some ring to tell people Dom was his. âAnd you donât have say yes now, I mean just think about it, you and me, maybe have a dog and a cat, maybe 5, Will doesnât count as a dog. Maybe adopt kids, maybe occasionally still doing cool missions for Hudson. And itâs scary I know but I love you and- â Dom leaned over to just shut him up already as he kissed him, hand holding onto his tightly and the other going around Andrewâs neck and pulling him in closer. It was a sweet, gentle kiss, usually like how he handles his love for this man.
Dom broke it off resting his forehead on Andrewâs, his hand subconsciously starting to play with the ends of Andrewâs hair as he laughed, âDo you even have to ask?â
âDude, just let me try and be cool and ask it this one chance Iâll ever get in my life.â
âThe floorâs all yours.â
âDominic Hughes, will you marry me?â
âYes, itâll always be yes.â
âSee? That was totally cool, right?â
âAbsolutely not.â
send  đ for the moment my muse realized theyâre in love with yours
Dom sat on a chair in Andrewâs room, watching him curl in bed, soaked in the air of alcohol and tears with his face stained by both. he had a hand outstretched to stroke Andrewâs arm, soothing him to sleep. Itâs been almost half a year since theyâve first met in Hudson and this, this was the first when Dom finds Andrew drinking alone. He just sat there, sobbing as he clutched on to the bottle of Absolut, the whole thing almost gone. Dom was furious, he was about to swipe the bottle away and scold Andrew for doing something so stupid, he couldâve gotten alcohol poisoning for godâs sake, and he was drinking alone, he couldâve died.Â
But he stopped himself when Andrew looked him in the eye, feeling his heart sink to rock bottom seeing him so broken. âItâs.. itâs Abbyâs birthday today.â
Dom simply dropped his bag down and walked over to scoop him into his arms, plucking the bottle out of his hands lest he tries to chug even more alcohol into his system. âSheâs turning 18 today.. I.. I should be there. Why am I not fucking there?â
âI know..â Dom whispered, trying to comfort Andrew as he rocked him back and forth, stroking his back as he felt his chest ache more every time Andrew sobs a little harder. âNo, you donât.â The words hit him hard, because it was the truth. He donât know how he felt. Domâs family was all gone, he had no collateral damage by walking into Hudson, and even in Hudson, he felt like Andrew was all he had resembling anything to a proper friend, let alone family. With that, Dom kept quiet, simply providing comfort by touch instead of words, because his words always just seem to make it worse.Â
It took awhile but in a few hours the tears did stop, and exhaustion from the crying and alcohol took over Andrew and Dom lifted him back onto the bed, looking over just to make sure he really sleeps properly. He sat there in silence, quietly greeting Mason when he came in to hit the sack. And then it was just him, sitting here watching his friend sleep. He carefully cleaned Andrewâs face from the stains of tears, trying his best to not wake him up but he looked like he was out like a light.
Dom rested his arms on the back of the chair, propping his chin down on them as he felt the bubble of feelings coming up. He was almost zoning out staring at Andrew, trying to swallow it all back, this wasnât suppose to happen, he didnât like that feeling. Not that he didnât like it, he did. It was just a ball of happiness rising up to his chest the more he thought about Andrew. He just didnât want to go through that again and lose it all because he couldnât keep his commitments in check, it just hurts everyone. But at this very moment, he put that all aside and smiled, taking the opportunity to look at the now peaceful face.
Dom was lucky. Lucky to have met Andrew, remembering the first time they met being dumped together because no one else wanted them to drag their grades down. Lucky to have him block the gossips and whispers haunting over his shoulders when he first came in. Lucky to just have him by his side right now. Lucky to have probably fallen for him too. And if he could do anything to help Andrew out, he would.
Andrew was fast asleep like a log, probably wonât be waking up any time soon until the next morning with a horrible hungover. And he probably wonât remember any of this at all. Itâll be best if Andrew donât have to wake up to the confusion of Dom in his room in the morning. He teared away from the chair, picking up his bag, and cleaning up the mess Drunk Andrew made, ready to head back next door. He paused at the door hearing Andrew groan a little but not waking up, most likely from all the alcohol burning his tummy. Dom tip toed back towards him and brushed his messy hair away from his forehead before daring to give a quick peck on it. âSleep well.â
â: my museâs reaction to finding your muse bruised and beaten on their doorstep
âWhat the hell, Andrew?â Dom mumbled, holding the door open as he stared at the man he loved in front of him, looking like he just walked out of a hurricane and hit by a thousand and one things along the way. His eyes traced every single visible mark, bruise and cut on him and his heart ached more with every new one he spots.Â
âHi,â Andrew tried to sound a little more cheery, limply raising his hand up to greet Dom. He felt anger at first, but it simmered down the moment Andrew opened his mouth to speak and Dom brought his gaze back up to his. âWhich defense class did you fail this time?â Dom tried to joke, putting a smile on his face, but the worry and woe in his voice gave him away. His hand reached out to gently cup his face, almost not touching, almost afraid that it would hurt, but Andrew instinctively leaned into his touch, returning a comforting smile.Â
âYou can spend the whole night guessing, oh but Iâm fine, thanks for asking.â Despite the battered body, he still sounded like the same old Andrew, except maybe more tired. But every time Andrew says heâs fine, Dom just worried that much more.
âNo youâre not,â He knows heâs not, a thumb lightly tracing over the cut right under his eye with blood already starting to dry up. He tip toed as Andrew bent down, already by habit, letting Dom carefully kiss his forehead before leading him into his room, âCâmon letâs get you patched up.â
When they got Andrewâs shirt off, it just revealed even more cuts and it looked like he even bruised his ribs and it broke Domâs heart. He wanted to find out who in the world wouldâve done this or what happened but at the end of the day, all of that didnât matter. Andrew mattered.
âDo you wanna talk about it?â Dom asked in a quiet voice as he began to clean the open wounds first, stopping and being more careful every time Andrew flinched and hissed at the pain, muttering a sorry before continuing. âItâs over, itâs fine. Iâm fine, donât worry about it. But thank you,â he craned his neck to glance to Dom behind him, a hand reaching back to touch his arm as a gesture, often that just means no. Dom already knew his answer but it was worth a shot, worth a reminder that even if he didnât want to talk, he was still here to listen. âIâm just glad youâre still alive.â
âMe too.â
They just sat there in silence as Dom continued, slightly somber but comforting at the same time in each otherâs presence. He cleaned every single cut he noticed, rubbed ointment on every little bruise and grabbed a bag of ice for his chest. By the time his whole body was covered in gauze, Andrew looked liked he was going to fall asleep sitting up, cradling the ice bag on his chest. When Dom was done cleaning up, throwing Andrewâs clothes in the washer and washing the blood off his hands, he came back to Andrew almost falling over as he slept, ice bag already on the floor. And he looked ridiculously cute that way, like a puppy  trying not to fall asleep, making Dom let out a chuckle.Â
He went over to pick up the ice bag and laid Andrew down onto his bed, getting in from the other side, resting the bag on his bruised chest again while he pulled the covers over them, making Andrew stir awake. âGet some rest, Iâll make you peanut butter and banana sandwiches tomorrow morning.âÂ
Andrew let out a grin before closing his eyes and murmuring into Domâs chest, âYouâre the best.â Dom couldnât help the smile that spread across his face, kissing the top of his head before letting Andrew drift back to sleep. But for Dom? He couldnât sleep at all, his mind just races with worries and brooded over what couldâve had happened to Andrew to make him hurt like that.Â
Donât worry about it. But thatâs all he ever does.
â: the voicemail my muse leaves on your phone when your muse hasnât been heard from for the fifth night this week
79Â messages. 132 missed. Calls.
Make that 133. Dom felt like he was a mum trying to call her runaway rebellious teen, except that he wasnât. He was just trying to call his boyfriend just to hear his voice at least once, to know that heâs okay. Thatâs all he asks for. Doesnât matter if Andrew was mad at him, doesnât matter if he never talked to him ever again, doesnât matter if he stopped loving him, as long as he was okay and alive, thatâs more than Dom could ask for.
He paced around Andrewâs room alone, phone seemed to be glued to his ears, willing the phone to start ringing properly instead of constantly going to voicemail. Nope. Right back into voicemail. Well, he heard Andrewâs voice alright, telling him to leave a message after the tone. The only same few words of his voice that heâs heard for the past five days. But itâs all he got holding him down to hope.
âHey Andrew..â his voice cracks, he sounded like a mess. He held a long pause, running a hand through his unkempt hair as he sat down on the bed they once shared ever so often. He let out a shaky breath that he forgot that he was holding.
âIf you hear this at all, please. Please, call back, message or something, let me know youâre okay. Iâm going crazy here trying to figure out where you are. I donât know if youâre out there or if youâre hurt or.. or..â D e a d. âPlease I canât do this. I need to hear your voice, I need to know youâre okay, I need you.â Please donât leave like everyone else. His face that had dried up from the tears was damp again by new ones.
âI love you, please.. please come home.â He just let the voicemail run in silence, hoping somehow heâd hear Andrewâs voice back by some miracle.Â
But he was simply greeted by another beep, signalling the time limit of the voicemail. Dom pulled the phone away, warm from being on the line too much, staring at the goofy picture he had of Andrew; the one fun thing about these new Hudson phones, but not so fun now when his heart aches to be able to hold on to that face with his hands instead of his screen.
And he took one more moment to look before pressing the call button once more.
â: my museâs reaction to finding drugs in your museâs handbag
âWhat the fuck is this?â Will demands to know, and he sees Andrew freeze. There are a million excuses that play across his face as Andrew tries to pick one and fuck is Drew an awful spy. He canât even lie without giving himself away.
âDonât you dare lie to me,â Will hisses out through clenches teeth. he hates this kind of shit, Andrew knows that. Heâs asked, over and over and over again, why Will is the way he is. And through small snipets and begrudging admissions,, Andrew knows he hates drugs. He knows how much they fucked him up.
Andrew says, âChill out dude, what are you, my dad?â and itâs the worst thing he can say to Will, who looks about ready to punch him. Andrew wants to take it back immediately. He doesnât, though, and when Will walks away Andrew kind of wishes he had just hit him instead. It would hurt less.
â: my museâs reaction to finding your muse bruised and beaten on their doorstep
âWho?â Will asks, and its in this calm and collected voice. Andrew blinks up at him, confusion across the bruises and cuts on his face. Willâs always an outward person. Everything he does is big, loud, and when he opens the door and his face falls flat an blank, it scares Andrew. It scares him a lot.
Andrewâs seen Will angry before. Heâs seen him drunk and crying. Heâs seen him livid and on a rampage, destroying and throwing and wrecking everything in sight. Heâs seen Will punch a wall, and heâs seen him cuss and throw and even hit someone hard enough to make them throw up.
But heâs never seen him quiet before, features schooled into a blank mask that almost covers the murderous look in his eyes. Andrew shakes his head, because it doesnât matter, and considers backtracking, slowly. He could be out the door in about five seconds.
âWho.â Willâs tone is insistent and Andrew swallows, hard. Heâs tired and heâs sore and he just wants someone to talk care of him. Will sees it when the tears pool in the corner of his eyes and his shoulders crumble in, threatening to collapse. His features soften and Will pulls Andrew into the room. His touch is soft, gentle, loving, as he cleans out the cut above Andrewâs eye and splints his finger. Andrew leans into the touch despite the pain it brings him because he wants this, he needs it after the night heâs had. He craves the affection. The attention. Willâs focused solely on him, like heâs the most important thing in the room, and Andrewâs stuck to his side, barely letting Will stand to take off his shirt.
When Will tucks him in he whispers out the name. Will tenses, pressing a kiss to Andrewâs forehead and rocking him to sleep so gently it barely feels like heâs moving in his big arms. When Andrew wakes up the next morning, Will is nowhere to be found and dread begins to blossom in his stomach.
â°: my museâs reaction to watching yours die from afar
Freelance assassin work isnât all itâs cracked up to be, but Andrew and Will are the best in their field, or at least some of the best, and when they get the new job Will wants to say no. Andrew insists they take it -Â âThe payout is six figures dude, are you kidding me? - but Will knows itâs wrong. Itâs a hunch he canât shake and Will can feel the regret when they say yes. Itâs supposed to be a simple mission at some fancy, rich guyâs house who collects exotic fish. His family is out on some cruise but he elected to stay home, and the bounty on his head is too high for how easy his security system is.
Drew sets up on the roof and heâs running Will through the intel. Heâll be in his study, this late at night, and Will follows the voice in his earpiece, his gun ready. Itâs another part of the job that Will doesnât like, the execution can be messy. Thereâs a giant fish tank in the study, old furniture that looks more important than practical, and a decidedly obvious absence of any living person. Will mentions this to Andrew, but all he can hear is static and scuffling.
The line cuts out and Willâs yelling into the ear piece, âDrew? Where the fuck are you dude?â before thereâs motion out of the corner of his eye. Andrewâs in the tank, or at least, his head is. His mouth is open in a silent scream as gloved hands hold him under the water. Will shoots the fish tank, low and under whatever opening is being used. But the fucker is bulletproof and Will doesn't have a single clue of how to get to whatever secret room Andrewâs in. His fists smack against the glass, futile, and he hears a sick crack as one of his fingers breaks in his efforts.
Andrewâs gasping for breathe when he's held back down, under the water. but thereâs nothing Will can do. He sees the panic, the regret, the scared look in Drewâs eyes. Itâs the same look that Will sees whenever he closes his eyes, whenever he falls asleep, whenever heâs too alone, sober, without a bottle to drown himself in. Itâs the fear that cuts Will to the core, the fact that this is something that Will canât protect him from. The fact that he trusted Will to make sure he was okay, that he trusted Will to protect him.Â
Andrew dies, scared and alone and looking at Will like maybe, he could save him.Â
Itâs the biggest failure of his life. Â Willâs face is the last thing that Andrew sees before he dies, and Will knows that Andrewâs face will haunt him well through his entire life. His eyes go wide and suddenly Andrewâs at peace. His brow smooths out and his lips loosen, bubbles no longer running frantic. Andrewâs eyes are looking straight at Will, empty and emotionless and gone.
