âIâm not wasted!â Her voice might be a little too loud but thatâs just because, well the movieâs loud. It has nothing to do with wine or no wine, heâs being silly. And anyways even if she was drunk (sheâs not) isnât that the point of the night? But she wonât fight him on the glass of water, itâs probably for the best. âAll I had for dinner was some popcorn,â She punctuates her statement with another handful, this time catching a chocolate in the mix, âThatâs kind of your fault.â And itâs not really an excuse for being a lightweight. Even one who just expecting a normal movie night.
âAnd stop with the sad faces! No one hates you.â Sure, people might dislike him. But she canât think of anyone whoâs said the words âI hate Will Davisâ. She couldnât think of another blonde at Hudson either though, so she might be missing some names. Itâs not a big deal, itâs not like comforting someone has to be factually accurate. âYou know. Alcohol is a depressant. Iâve solved your next problem. Iâm a regular Sherlock Holmes tonight.â
âIâm not making sad faces!â Maybe Will is. Or, he was, because now itâs all big, face-splitting smiles as they both fall into nice buzzes. This is what Will needs today. Gia is great company, and sheâs been good at asking the wrong questions so Will doesnât have to talk about things. Itâs great.
âYouâre still getting water for your next cup.â Willâs probably going to switch to water, too. All of the sudden, the useless sidekick shows up in a helicopter, and Will realizes he hasnât been watching the movie as close as he thought he was. He looks over to Gia, who is so damn pleased with herself, and an idea strikes him as someone dramatically falls out of yet another helicopter.
âGod, what the fuck is even happeninâ.We should go to the kitchen, and get you some real food.â
fire down the wire ( will + cora )
Thatâs when his grin appeared. It wasnât like the one she was used to. No, this one held more hell than Hades himself. It was the one trivial matter that she fretted over their entire encounters with one another. She knew there had to be something in him that made him part of Hudson. There had to be something that clicked. Will Davis was an average agent. He wasnât terrible at anything. He wasnât really great either. There was nothing that made him stand out until n o w. The one genuine part in his body was what bought him here. His scales shifted underneath his skin, showing exactly what kind of monster remained beneath. His grin was a whiplash, causing her to reflect one back. She was pleased with herself obviously. Her grin was the only evidence she allowed. âI knew you were faking it.â
Her gaze flickered towards him, remaining the same intensity as his. Taking a step forward, she allowed herself to be the flint to his fire. He would burn her before this conversation was over. It didnât matter. This was too interesting to merely pass off. âThatâs what got you into Hudson. This.â A hand was held up, gesturing towards the anger that stiffened his bones. âWhat makes you so scared to be like this?â She asked, narrowing her gaze as her hand rest on his chest. She pushed him back with a tease. In that spree of a moment, Will forgot something. Cora was the best damn thing that would ever happen to him. She would be sure he would know that before she walked away from it all. Now, she would bait, tease, and try to bring out the demon he was so eager to show now. How long would it take before he just snapped?
With her prediction, it was ten minutes.
Willâs fists ball up when Cora gets into his personal bubble.Everyone expects a quick burning anger from Will. Heâs o energetic, it just makes sense. But his rage is slow burning, curling around the edges and lighting up under his skin. When it hits its boiling point itâs after days and weeks and months, and itâs a scary sight to see. Willâs anger is cold and calculating, all harsh line and cutting words. When Cora touches him Will wants to push her off. He hates her, in that moment, for getting under his skin and making him care about her when sheâs so fucked in the head she canât even appreciate it. He feels like heâs at his wits end and Coraâs so amused about it all that Will just wants to punch her.Â
He reaches up, moving fast, to grab her wrist and yank her forward. If she wants to be close Will can make it closer, practically looming over her at their height different. Heâll use every advantage he can over her right now. This Will is ruthless, not caring about her comfort or ideas. He wants to hurt her the way that sheâs hurt him.
âYou donât know a single fuckinâ think about me, girl.â His nose flares as he looks down at her, pupils dilated and jaw stubborn. Wills grip on her wrist tightens as he looks at her, challenging her to try to dispute his claim. Willâs been so vague with her, so careful, like he just knew Cora would try to fuck him over. But what little heâs given her is too much, and Will wants to be on the offensive, not defensive. âSo why donât you keep the psychobabble and daddy issues for someone who cares?â
Open Thread
âOh,â Sawyer said with a small frown. He didnât know much about religion. While heâd traveled the world, his travels were a quick overview of the cities. Sawyer never stopped to talk with any of the locals to learn about them. There was never any time between jobs. On top of that, no one in the ring spoke about their personal lives. No one at Hudson spoke about their personal lives either, so maybe that was why he was a little surprised at the clarification.
âI like that, though.â Sawyer stared at the painting, knowing that his lover would have liked that idea, too. He was always about celebrating life, and Sawyer could hear him chastising him for being such a brooding artist time. It was almost as if he could hear his voice telling him to loosen up a bit. It was still hard, though, because he knew where that lifestyle had gotten him. Sawyer wondered if his lover would do it all again if he knew heâd die in the end. âI will, thank you. I know he, uh, well, the theoretical subject would feel the same way. So, thanks. I really mean it.â
The painting is obviously about someone close to Sawyer. Will can tell from the careful way he holds it and his slight slip-ups when heâs talking. Will is one of the last people to push for personal details in one-on-one conversation. Even with his progress, heâs still resistance to the idea of actually letting people in. Thatâs a surefire way to get hurt, and Will is not about that. So he lets the slip up happen, not pressing, and pretends like it didnât.
âIâm glad I could be of help, dude. I better get back to this run before too much lactic acid builds up,â he says with a shrug. Sawyer seems like a nice guy, but Will still has a couple of laps to finish up before his body decides to call it quits.
âGood luck, with the next painting.â Willâs sure there will be more. People are Hudson tend to linger where theyâre not supposed to the most, and he doesnât think Sawyer will be any different.
crust desserts // will & andrew
Seeing her would be fine if he didnât wake up feeling like shit every single time. They were just dreams, they were nightmares. Of Abby crying over a grave, his grave, and then seeing him right there and getting so angry. Furious. Telling him what an awful brother he is, he was, because heâs not her brother anymore.
He canât go to sleep.
Itâs not something he wants or knows how to explain, so he settles for looking Will in the eye and using his most pleading voice, hoping that maybe Will will realize how much he means it. âWill, please. I canât. I donât want to see her, the nightmares are awful. Iâd rather be exhausted. Iâd rather just never sleep. Iâve got, like. Another fifteen or so cans of energy drinks.â As he says it, he realises how unhealthy it sounds. Thereâs no way Willâs going to agree to let him stay awake now.
âI donât like lying,â Andrew mumbles, though that feels like a lie itself. He lied to Abby, his whole family, everyone back at home about Hudson. He lies to Dom about the stash of vodka at the back of his closet. For someone thatâs so bad at lying, Andrew seems to do a lot of it.
The elevator doors open, and Andrew sighs, wondering for a moment if he can outrun Will once the doors open again. Itâs wishful thinking. Will could be in Andrewâs exhausted state and still run faster than him. âWhat if,â he tries again, âI promise that Iâll sleep tonight?â For maybe an hour, tops, but Will doesnât have to know that, right? âThen will you just go for class? And let me go to class. Iâve got physical training right now, we both know Iâm already awful at that.â
âThat shit can kill you bro, no. Absolutely not.â Andrewâs desperation makes Will a little uncomfortable. He understands those dreams. Willâs arenât filled with faces, though, but billowing smoke. It creeps under the door and clogs his throat. Will chokes and coughs, but nothing stops the fire from spreading. When he wakes up, heâs always flushed with sweat. Itâs abrupt and jumpy, and he can never fall back asleep afterwards. Itâs awful but Will still sleeps, because thereâs nothing else you can do. He trains hard, sometimes harder than he should, because that pure feeling of exhaustion leads to dreamless sleep when heâs lucky.
He can feel Andrewâs resistance as they get closer and closer to his room. Heâs practically begging Will at this point, as if he knows itâs inevitable but he just canât give in. Will doesnât have to be the good guy here. Heâl tie Andrew down to the damn bed if thatâs what it takes. But something inside of Will knows once Drewâs head hits the pillow and his arm wraps around his waist, heâll be out like a light. The exhaustion is pulling at him, and even Will can tell how bad itâs effecting him now.
âAndrew,â Will says with a shake of his head. His tone gets serious, and itâs a very big brother move on his part that he does without thinking. Theyâre at Andrewâs door and Will just waits, refusing to budge on this. Itâs what Andrew needs, even if it is not what he wants. âIâm not going anywhere. Stop fighting it dude.â

Follow Your Nose [[Will && Dom]]
âExactly, Iâm feeding you, you canât possible hate me, right?â Dom grinned, gesturing to the plates. Will was always placated with food, whether he was sad or mad or beaming with happiness, food always seem to be the solution and Dom was more than happy to make him some.
As Dom sat down, the look on Willâs face worried him, the bullets arenât even fully in the works, it was just a prototype and a written report and heâs afraid that Will would get too disappointed over the end product, who knows it might even fail. Heck he was still confused about what he wanted to do. âI mean.. theyâre gonna take awhile and probably wonât even work properly, and I have like, 3 weeks to get it done so Iâm gonna just maximise those 3 weeks.â Dom hesitantly replied, trying to lower the expectation and excitement Will contained. It was nice to know st least someone was excited about it, but the doubts just shrouded his mind of the practicality it had.
Dom let out a short laugh over he comment Will made about Delaney, and he wasnât wrong. âShe sure is. I donât mind getting a C but I guess a C is definitely not on her to do lost in Hudson.â He sighed ate twirled his fork on his on plate of carbonara to try it out. Though Will was making happy sounds over the food, Dom just chewed, dismissing the usual compliment Will always give, âItâs really just milk, cheese and pasta. Take your time, Will, donât choke on it. I donât think you can trust me to do first aid for you on that.â He chuckled, taking a second bite and he paused, âNeeds more milk, really.â Heâll probably just add that to the second batch when he reheats it up.
âI donât think I could ever hate you, bro. Youâre too nice, you feed me, if you were a little more my type Iâd probably be in love.â Domâs a great guy. Will would definitely have sex with him if he asked for it. He doesnât, though, so Will doesnât offer himself up, but the sentiment is there, sort of. Dom would probably get that scrunched up look on his face if Will did offer to have sexwith him.
âWell, if you ever need someone to field test them, Iâm your guy, okay?â No one else is going to get to use cool as fuck bullets before Will. Dom can downplay how cool theyâd be, but if heâs successful, Will wants to be there to try them out. Anything that can give you the edge in the field is important. Everyone trains so hard, and is so evenly matched for the most part, if you can get that extra inch above someone, you take it.
Will shakes his head. Domâs crazy. What heâs cooked, carbonara, is fucking delicious. Willâs shoveling it into his mouth, despite Domâs joke, and he slows down slightly, wiping the sauce off of his chin. His plate is half empty and Will feels his brain catching up with stomach. The dish is heavy, with the milk, cheese, and bacon, and Willâs starting to feel it sink to the bottom of his stomach.
âNo man this is perfect. Youâre crazy. Donât change it,â He says with a shake of his head. âMan, you should be a chef somewhere, cooking for the stars or at a five star restuaraunt. Youâre wastinâ potential here.â
Perfect Morning !!!
Blame it on the slowed reflexes or the action on screen, but his defensiveness barely sends up a red flag. Instead she just laughs a little bit, trying to process his sentences. âDoes she hate you?â Sheâs latched on to the end of his sentence instead of any of the million ânosâ that heâs quickly spewed out. âI didnât think anyone could hate you.â Then again she doesnât know Gemma that well, or her relationship with Will. Itâs not the first time sheâs heard the term ice queen be thrown around when talking about the younger West, maybe thereâs something to it. âYou probably havenât bought her enough wine and popcorn.â Her joke is stupid and itâs missed the tone of the moment, but she didnât really expect Will to turn on her so fast.
And yet, the attempt to calm down / cheer up / make laugh doesnât stop there because sheâs on her second glass of wine, and Will invited her over for a drama free night. âIf itâs not Gemma, then thereâs only one other option.â She thinks for a moment, coming up completely empty on any other queen bee, or blonde, walking the Hudson halls. So she bumps his shoulder with a silly grin on her face, one answer left, âIâm your type!â
âThere isnât enough popcorn and wine in the world to make her like me.â Willâs starting to get sad, and thatâs not how he is when he drinks. So he drinks some more, puts a smile on his face. Thereâs no reason to be sad. Will Davis has his choice of ladies and men alike.
âYou cracked the code, Gia,â Will says with a laugh, shaking his head at her. The next time she asks for a refill, sheâs getting cut off. âFor a school full of spies, a lot of yâall are lightweights, you know that?â Giaâs drunk on wine, Daniel got drunk on just a couple of beers, and even Drew canât handle more than three or four shots. The worst of them all is Gemma, really, but Will is purposefully not thinking about Gemma West tonight. Not even a little bit.
âYouâre wasted,â he says with another laugh, finishing up his beer. The movieâs still going but neither of them are really paying attention to it any more. âYour next glass is going to be water.â
fire down the wire ( will + cora )
âI never said that.â The anger trembled from his voice like an earthquake. She was surprised he held such malice in that soft exterior of his. He was proving more and more what kind of persona he hid behind. Will Davis was a kind man, but indefinitely a cold one as well. She wasnât sure which one she preferred - if any. His comment was thrown loosely. Even Cora was unsure if she should have taken insult to it. She certainty wasnât going to take any pride of the idea. She wasnât sure if Will belonged here. He possessed the skill to and thatâs all that mattered. It was his mind that she always questioned. It dipped into the mysterious past he remained glued shut about. There was something he held from everyone here. No star quarterback would walk away from an easy life and dreams without something fucking it horribly. More than anything, she wanted to know. Maybe that was why Will stuck around so much. Either he wanted to know her or peel away a layer from his many pseudos to give her a peak.
( Did you want something or did I earn a real life compliment from the Cora Underwood? )
Hurt flickered across her expression for a brief moment. If you blinked, you would have missed it. She leaned forward with a sense of malice. No. She wasnât going to play nice anymore. Her words held just as much venom simply because he called for it. He asked for her to remain her cruel self. Yet, she was relieved. She didnât know any other way. It was the only thing that worked well for her - cruelty. It kept the weak away and brought her a sense of protection that she was so fond of. âYes, because talking to you means that I want something. Youâre learning finally.â She gritted her teeth, forcing a sarcastic smirk to fall on her lips.
Clenching her fist, the brunette tried her best to not pick up the gun again. It wasnât wise to carry a weapon when anger seeped through her veins. She would suffer through a RED streak. It had been a while since sheâs had one of those. There was no point of triggering one now. Cora allowed a chuckle to fall against her lips before shaking her head. âHonestly, Iâm so surprised you can pull off being a dick so well. Did you take a lesson from me, 13? Or was that there all along?âÂ
Will gets too much enjoyment out of getting a genuine reaction out of her. Itâs mean and petty, but the fact that heâs under her skin brings him a supreme sense of satisfaction. When she bares her teeth, Will answers with the smallest of smirks. After weeks of trying to get Will to play her stupid little games, heâs finally giving her what she wants. Heâs finally learning, she says, and Will has to bite back a scoff at her. Heâs been playing the social game far longer than she has, and as much as he tried to not be a dick, it seems like itâs all he can do around her.
Her words are laced with sarcasm but thereâs truth behind it. All Cora does is take, take, take until Will knows heâll have nothing left to give. Can he crack through her shell before that happens? Probably not. It doesnât stop him from trying. the nickname stings his skin and Will keeps his expression neutral, refusing to devolve into a glare. No, not yet.
âOh darlinâ,â Will says, and his grin is razor sharp, unforgiving. Coraâs awakened something inside of Will that he keeps chained up, normally out of view and away from people. Will Davis is nice, heâs charming. Heâs been called a boy scout before, and he was in the actual Boy Scouts. Will Davis helped little old ladies cross the street and carried their groceries for them. This Will isnât that Will. Itâs something he keeps so close to his chest. Because at the end of the day, you are what people see you as. That means Will is a nice guy, if not a little goofy. Not that heâs a cold, narcissistic asshole with no regret or remorse for how he makes people feel. The change is obvious as his grin sharpens over his face. Cora wants to see him, underneath all of the layers? Sheâs going to get her wish. âYou wish you were that special, but we both know you arenât.â

Lost Somewhere // Will & Roman
Roman really wished he hadnât allowed Will to pick the movie. It wasnât that bad, really, but Roman was dramatic, and the amount of action on the screen was nearly dizzying. There was nothing subtle about the movie, and everything was laid bare on the surface. It was boring, and loud, and Roman had no doubt heâd fall asleep before the movie was finished.Â
âIs this why you accepted Hudsonâs offer, then?â he asked, looking up at Will with a small, teasing smile on his face. Will was a bit of a stereotype, with his American guns, and love of football, but Roman never really minded. âThe promise of guns and explosions?âÂ
He looked back at the screen, the two things he mentioned having a horrifying amount of screen time. âItâs all a bit boring, if you ask me.â He settled his head down again, feeling both sleepy and comfortable. âWill Smith is hot in this, though.âÂ
âSomething like that,â Will says with a smirk. He wishes. Hudson is nothing like this, and Will isnât naive enough to believe it would have been. He does wish that their tech was better, more like the movies, but thatâs not a big deal either. Will is content to letting Roman think that, though. Everyone thinks Will Davis is all flash and no substance. Being underestimated is one of the best secret weapons you can have at Hudson. Let everyone go n thinking that. Will will put his hours in at the gym, the shooting range, and the training rooms.
âOf course it is, dude,â Will says with a roll of his eyes. Romanâs probably into that movies without a plot that donât even make sense. That existential bullshit that makes money for no reason. Will wonât judge though. Not out loud. Roman can have his shitty, indie movies and Will will keep his action flicks and comedies.
âWill Smith was one of my favorite actor growing up. Nice to see a black man on television.â
crust desserts // will & andrew
âYeah, but they work. Mostly.â Itâs been a couple of days, so theyâre not working as well as they should, but that can be fixed pretty easily if Andrew just ups the number of cans heâs drinking, right? Heâll be fine.
When Will basically declares that heâs going to sleep, Andrew does the opposite of what Will told him to do and fights him. Itâs not like he can put up much resistance when heâs so exhausted, but he tries. He starts dragging his heels, to get Will to stop, but it just makes Andrew stumble instead, so he keeps walking while trying to pull away. âWill â no, no, I canât sleep, dude. C'mon, stop. You never skip class! Donât start, dude, itâs bad.â
Andrewâs not dumb enough to think thatâll work for a second, because arguing with Will is nearly pointless when heâs looking out for Andrew, but he tries anyway. Anything to keep from having to go to sleep. Soon enough, theyâre near the building, and Andrew keeps protesting. âWill, stop, man, I canât go to sleep, I donât want to have to see her face whenever I close my eyes.â He doesnât sound panicked, at least, but maybe a little desperate. âDonât make me, please donât make me sleep. Or, like. You could go? And Iâll rest or take a short nap? Donât miss class on my account. I know you never miss any classes.â Andrewâs full of shit and they both know that if Will leaves him in his room heâs not going to go to sleep, but that doesnât stop him from trying as they finally enter the building. As soon as heâs snuggled up next to Will heâs going to give in and sleep, and he knows he canât let that happen, but heâs so exhausted that any fight he puts up is effectively useless.
âNo they donât.â If they worked, Andrew wouldnât look like heâs been run over by a tractor and left on the side of the road. His protest is a drag of his feet, ike he doesnât have energy to do anything else, and right then and there Will knows heâs going to be skipping class. Itâs alright. The next class he has lined up is a shooting class, and Willâs ahead of the curve. Shooting is the one place he doesnât need a whole lot of help in, so Will can afford to miss a couple of them.
âItâs okay to sleep Drew. Itâs okay to see her.â Willâs voice is a lot softer, like hes dealing with a small child. In a way, he is. Andrew brings but the big brother in Will that he never knew he had. It didnât exist for his home life, and the guy he was on the field, as a quarterback, was more of a leader figure than anything else. Never a big bother, or anything even close to that. But when Willâs Andrew nearly falls and Willâs arm wraps around his waist to secure it, it feels a lot like that instinct everyone is always going on about. He canât imagine what Andrewâs feeling about his sister. Really, he canât. But Will wants to be there for him, so thatâs exactly what he does, both literally an emotionally, as they make their way through the dorm building.
âYou need need to take a class on lying dude. Youâre really bad at it." Will taps the elevator button with his fist, knowing the way to Andrewâs room. Heâs there more than he is in his own room.
fire down the wire ( will + cora )
The gun felt like an extension of her body. It was clumsy, but a graceful art. She could never move as easily as her counterpart. It wasnât her area of expertise, while she had never been worse at anything with Will. It was a strange sense of place. Normally, nothing would cause such unease. This was a weapon of her own making. Even being there, she felt the guilt crawl through the back of her throat. It was threatening to come up as bile. A foul taste remained in her mouth, knowing that she wouldnât dare leave his presence just yet.Â
Her head was pounding, thudding through the remainder of the room. Even with the headset on, she felt a throb with each bullet that left the gun. Distracted. Astray from her actual goal. Cora Underwood was never like this. She was not some predictable school girl that flaunted over her emotions. She was a damn grown adult. It was about time she started acting like one, even if it meant throwing a cold shoulder towards someone else. It wasnât mature to push someone away like this, but it was the only way she knew to keep herself safe.
Targets remained tainted along the way, bullets through just the right points before she slipped off her headphones. Her world filled with loud rings of shots. There was a moment where she caught herself staring at Will. He was better at this than she would have thought. Then again, she didnât really know him at all. He was a mere flicker of an illustration that she made him out to be. Not a real person. No, it was merely a toy she fiddled with when she was bored. And yet, it wasnât like that. She couldnât separate her head from the glares that were shot in her direction. Strange as it was, but Cora didnât want to be ignored least of all by Will Davis.Â
Instead of returning her focus to the gun range, she watched. His movements were smooth, something she wanted to obtain in this field. She tried to act like she was the best, but she wasnât. Admitting that she wasnât just as skilled as the other agents gave a flaw that she didnât want to admit. She wished at time she could just be this steel robot, moving through the motions and brushing off the world around her. She had almost succeeded - had not some of these people gotten underneath her skin. She didnât speak at all, not until Will seemed done. His headset slid off from his ears, placing on his neck as he put down his gun.
âYouâre good.â Cora spoke, expecting retaliation for even acknowledging her own presence.
Will flicks the switch that stills the targets and resets them. Their shooting range is nice. Not as nice as he thought it would be, but still pretty great. They donât have super, high tech spy stuff like they do in the movies. The fact that Hudsonâs technology hasnât caught up to Hollywoodâs is more than a little disappointing. Itâs enough that Willâs happy to be there multiple times a week, but real life holograms would be way, way cooler.
âDonât sound so surprised that I actually belong here,â Will says in a monotone. Coraâs statement may have been said without malice, but heâs been bitten too much after docile encounters to regard her as anything but hostile. their last encounter isnât the only time sheâs lashed out at him, but the anger from it still courses through him. Willâs generally not the type to hang onto anger for too long. But heâs running out of patience as more and more things add to the stress of his âjobâ with nothing to really take it away. Even alcohol, the only thing to get him through college, isnât providing for him. Willâs been sober since he drank with Daniel. not wanting to become too reliant on it again. Hitting the bottle after  along day is just too damn easy to fall back into. Willâs here to be the best, nothing less, so thatâs what heâs going to do.
âDid you want something?â Willâs voice is flat, again, as he double checks the .38 compact. He loads the magazine into place, smacking it up with the palm of his hand. Will doesnât load the first round into the chamber without his headphones on, double checking the safety before he sets the pistol down. Heâs not going to let her distract him while shooting, especially not with a brand new gun heâs been itching to test shoot. Despite his resolve, sarcasm starts to seep into his voice without any warning.âOr did I earn a real life compliment from the Cora Underwood.â
crust desserts // will & andrew
âOutside is perfect.â Spring is all around them now, for real, as Summer waits just around the corner. Once they leave the air conditioning, Will can feel the sun o his face and he tilts it just, just slightly. Summers at Hudson are more mild than they were back home, where it was hotter and stickier, where Will had to wear full football pads and gear.Â
He can feel the stress rolling off of Andrew in waves, and Will makes sure to keep him close. If there is one person who appreciates his physical brand of comfort, itâs Andrew. When he starts talking, it asks more questions than it answers. Andrewâs not looking too hot. Will didnât want to bring it up, because thatâs a rude thing to say, but he can see how tired Andrew is. Heâs the jumpy sort of tired, too, which Will saw some students get after crashing from caffeine loading and pills during finals week. He never did it himself, but he can see the symptoms and Will swallows hard. If Drew is going drugs someone will have hell to pay for selling them to him.
âThereâs more than that, bro, come. We both know how sleepy you get after blow jobs. I could have you asleep in like, ten minutes. Whatâs the real reason? Itâs me dude. You can talk to me.â He doesnât want to push too hard, but heâd be a shitty friend if he didnât push at all when Andrew is so obviously messed up about something.
Itâs nice, walking outside, but the warmth just makes Andrew more sleepy. From the weather and Will, who is close enough that Andrew could just lean his head on Willâs shoulder and probably fall asleep standing up. Which would probably be considered fainting. It doesnât sound ideal, and would more than likely freak Will out, so he resists. Itâs not like he wants to sleep anyway.
Willâs older brothering him, as usual, which is kind of strange, considering that he doesnât like his biological brother, but Andrewâs not going to question it. Being taken care of and cared about feels good, and heâll take all of it he can get. Heâs already poked holes in what Andrewâs telling him, and he caves, just like that. Itâs been days since heâs gotten enough sleep, and heâs way too tired to resist the attention and care heâs getting. âIâm just⌠You know some people were mad because someone cleaned out the energy drink aisle? Uh, that asshole was me.â He was lucky no one had spotted him doing that. Itâd been a dick move, but he needed the Red Bull and Monster more than anyone else, he was pretty sure.
âI canât sleep. Like, I canât let myself sleep. Iâve already had four cans today.â Heâd drank the first at 4AM, but wasnât about to mention that. âItâs Abbyâs birthday next Sunday. You know? And I canât stop having nightmares about her. So I just donât sleep. But Iâm so tired.â His voice is bordering on a whine, and he hates it, but heâs too fucking exhausted. Itâs not like Willâs going to hold it against him.Â
Andrewâs practically falling asleep on him. Will tries to pretend like he doesnât notice, but itâs so damn obvious itâs painful. Something must really be bothering him, because Andrew is one of the sleepiest guys he knows. Heâs never seen someone pass out so quickly after giving a blowjob before.
âFuck Drew. You know those things are awful for you.â When Wil was young(er) and stupid(ier), he used to chug those damn things. But then his middle school football coach caught him and made Will run laps until he puked his guts up out through his mouth and nose. It was a good lesson. A little traumatic, but a good lesson. From that point on, the only caffeine boost he got was from the occasional Coke or cup of coffee, and he couldnât even smell an monster without remembering ralphing everywhere.
âYou need to sleep. Like now, dude. Youâre skipping class and weâre going right now. Donât fight me.â Willâs voice leaves no room for arguments as he looks Andrew over. Heâs already slug around his shoulder so itâs easy enough to steer him away from the big green lawn and back towards their dorm building. Itâs easy enough, with Will supporting some of Andrewâs weight and the fact that heâs a lot bigger than his best friend.
Gunpowder | Malia & Will
Malia removed her earmuffs at the sound of a muffled voice rising from the silence that had come after sheâd stopped shooting. She stepped back from her station in order to see the man sheâd come to be familiar with every week since they started here three years ago. âI didnât think you needed me to wait for you to catch up.â She replied, flipping her hair behind her shoulder. Familiar. Thatâs all he was. Not a friend or an acquaintance, just someone she was familiar with. She doesnât return the same smile that he gives her, but that doesnât mean the left side of her mouth doesnât tilt upwards when she voices her comment, if only a little.
Willâs grin doesnât falter one bit at her lack of expression. If he didnât know her better, he would think that heâs annoying her. But the smallest quirk of a smile tells him differently He takes the small booth next to her, lying his pistol down and getting his area set up. It doesnât take very long. His routine has been long since established for years now, partially thanks to the woman in front of him.
âYou up for a friendly competition?â.He asks, feeling a little antsier than normal. He hasnât even warmed up yet, but  Will knows his session will gobetter if heâs shooting with someone else.

Monster Hunter AU
turn the lights off and iâll glow
When Andrew opens the door to see a camera thrust into his face, heâs like, âUm. Excuse me?â
Thereâs a slender black haired man standing on his doorstep grinning broadly at him with a flash of perfect, blinding white teeth, and all of a sudden Andrew knows why heâs here. Roman West is on his doorstep. Roman West, from Roasting Ghosts With Roman, commonly hashtagged during live-tweeting as #RGWR, is standing in front of him, and heâs like, âYeah, you called? Iâm, you know. The ghost hunter?â
Of course. Andrew sighs, mumbles, âWhat the fuck, Will,â and then says, âYeah. Of course. Dâyou, like. Wanna come in?â
