i think its a very meaningful choice for deltarune to have a lot of male characters who, despite not acting intentionally maliciously towards women, are still clearly misogynistic. theres an actual point being made. one that might relate to how asgore has been treating toriel, maybe. perhaps there is a point being made about what kind of attitudes can lead to a man acting like asgore does.
