It’s a geopolitical map of Sornieth! Yay! Here it is with the real world so you can get a better sense of scale! Well, Sornieth is actually 1.5x as large as Earth, but this is a good continent-size-to-planet-size scale visualization!
This took a while for how simple it ended up looking. Basically what I did was used my “Winkel-Tripel projection” correction of the canon map and combined that with heavily referencing the close-up maps of each territory, matching the contours as closely as I could. I attempted to correct the side-on perspective, scaled down over-sized rivers and other features, turned a lot of things into islands, and gave Water a little land territory to be the Tsunami Flats. In actuality this has turned into a rather large country, probably the size of Chile. Well, it’s 1.5x as big as Chile, but, you know. Fun fact, the equator of Sornieth is 60,113 km (37,352 miles) long!
I am quite contentedly chalking up what seem to be river flow irregularities to unseen elevation/continental divides; what seem to be strange biome locations to unknown weather patterns and a healthy dose of magic (the deities reshaped each territory to their liking, it’s probable that before the Pillar shatter there was a much more “normal” biome spread); and the statement in the official lore that the Pillar of the World is the northernmost point of the planet as literary hyperbole because mapping that would be beyond me.
So this is my first attempt at standardized Sornieth cartography. I don’t expect it will match everyone’s headcanons, but I’m pretty pleased with it.
Oh, and here’s where you can see it on an actual globe!
