Hello, long time no see! Sorry for disappearing for so long I've been lurking and writing in the background and come bearing that Jazz Vampires fanfic I promised ages ago
Anywho it's completed if you wanna check it out (please read through the tags and rating, this one is really dark and superrr different to what I normally post so if it ain't for you there's plenty more on the way that might be more your cup of tea)

Angus paused, looked up in time to see Louis send him a wink. He flushed, ducked his head to resume fighting with the buttons on his shirt.
βThis donβt happen if you wonβt uphold up your end of the deal. You can have me. Only me. But not the others.β

That final stand at the jazz club doesn't go as planned and, in a bid to save the town, Sheriff Angus strikes one more deal with the leader of the vampires.
When posting this I may have underestimated how many people would want Angus and Louis to end up together so as a little thanks for reading I'm gonna be writing a little something that can be read as an optional epilogue to the main fic (that is set years later where Angus and Louis meet again) or an AU oneshot (with vampire!Angus and human!Louis and how things would be differentΒ and not so differentΒ if their roles were swapped) so if it's something you wanna see or if you have a preference on which one I write please let me know because I can't for the life of me make a decision lol

Has there ever been an adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days? Like I know there are a couple of movies with that name that are superficially about some whacky dudes trying to get around the world on a time limit, but I mean an adaptation of the original, featuring Philleas Fucking Fogg, Protagonist Esq.
People forget that the original story is less an adventure and more a comedy based around the idea "what if the blandest man imaginable had to travel the world". Passpartout spends way more time being stunned at Fogg's placid incuriosity than being stunned by magnificent architecture or the sights or anything. I want to see Fogg reading a newspaper while Passpartout tries to resuscitate an indian princess across from him on the big screen.
thinking about charlie angus and queer awakening tho. the complications of being queer, repulsed by this predator, the predator being attracted to you, unable to fight back against the predator. monsters and queer metaphor. queer people and how it's easy to hide predators and abusers when your whole community must be hidden. there's another elder 'monster' around, and he has wisdom that can help you rid yourself of the predator, but first. first you have to be honest that the predator exists. first you have to confess that you tried to bargain for peace and failed. first you have to come clean. is this anything
