it's been a hard few months as a queer fan of skizz, and one that obviously made skizz fan content almost exclusively.

i've never believed he's transphobic. Just that he's been doing a lackluster job of managing his community as a content creator and only now is feeling the consequences of that. But his silence was discomforting and worrying all the same. I legitimately wondered if skizz should have a close community if this is going to be how he handles stuff like this.

I'm relieved that he clearly took some time to think about this and talk with the people that he trusts about cc issues. I'm also glad that he can admit that while he may have trusted his mods and he has never seen anything inappropriate by his standards, he could acknowledge that the reason they were singled out was because of the their public tweets that were not in line with how he would want his community managers to be in public.

Does it mean that his apology was perfect and we should keep him under insane scrutiny? fuck no, but at least SOMETHING happened, and a lot of it was really good. just make sure you keep an eye out for shitty comments and make sure they're addressed in some manner.
