Shoot, It's kinda the opposite for me, I get the 'DM Downs' during the session where I feel like I didnt make the session interesting enough and then at the end I kinda press for feedback to see if they actually enjoyed it, the only time I really get the Downs after a session is as a player when I make a stupid decision. I do understand that feeling of abruptness after a session tho. As for advice? For me asking for feedback and what my players liked about the session helps cause it helps feed my 'need external validation' part of my brain, in the end I think as long as everyone had fun that's what matters. This could have been a lot of nothing, if it was I apologize, I'm usually a lurker but I related a lot to this so I wanted to speak on it.
