I was just bored of my music.

Not "I recently changed my name," not "sorry, I blanked," just write, write, write, stare into the void for an uncomfortable amount of time, "I got married." Write, write, leave.

She looked like she wanted to ask if I was okay and I hope she put it together but dang, I offered very few context clues. I said thank you, but there were other people waiting. Anyway, sorry to her.

Then I ran home (literally) with my freezer bag like it was a bomb cus it's 92°F and one landscaper guy looked concerned and I just yelled "ITS AN ICE CREAM CAKE!" And I think you could tell I just ran a half marathon yesterday and maybe that's why everyone looked so concerned. I dunno, can I like, get my shit together though? I live in this community. These people know me. Sure it's as "the girl who takes pictures of flowers" and "the lady who got in a bike crash," but still, like... What am I doing?

Happy birthday husband, I've made a fool of myself yet again. Thank you for being cool enough that when people see us on our evening walks, I regain some credibility to my name. And also for catching me every time I trip on the sidewalk. ❤️
