I have a coworker as asked if I could recommend books to him.

So now I want to so an experiment, because I'm not sure he's read The Hunger Games. How well would he handle the series if I made him read it in chronological order instead of by release date?

He is an ex theater kid, bubbly guy, trying to make the workspace fun for everyone.

I'm also going to make him read Darkest Minds because that series made me cry, especially the novellas.

I'm so tired of Ai. I'm trying to learn about Gaia because its the closest interpretation of Earth/mother nature as a deity/goddess, and 99% of the pictures i see are Ai generated. Its almost ironic seeing people use a tool that is well known to play a huge factor in present day harm to planet Earth, be used to created a picture of a goddess of Earth, while pictures of her already exist.

Two years ago I had gone to an occult bookstore (I think thats the right name, they have various books on religions, specifically witchcraft, pagan, and all related branches), herbs, incense, candles, stones & crystals, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus three beautiful cats they rescued ❤️.

Anyways, while there, I came across a book on "Wicca For Beginners" by Thea Sabin, and my intrest for Wicca had come from a book I had previously read on Moon Magic (I forget the author and idk if she ever brought up Wicca in her books)

I read the book for awhile until I saw posts claiming it was problematic with a lot of cultural appropriation. Immediately put the book away, because I don't want to appropriate other faiths.

As of today, I recently picked the book back up after seeing posts that it wasn't cultural appropriation, just new. But now I'm seeing people call out its issues, and I'm starting at actually learn its history.

So two things

1: Please fully educate me on its issues because what I've come across has been somewhat vauge

2: I'm feeling a pull to Witchcraft, and I would love both to learn about this faith and good books for learning it. I have a big rule of read about the faith/religion before practicing.

So I'd love to hear feedback and recommendations from the community so I can learn and grow.
