so i know ive been gone a while. too long to be honest. and i apologize. i’ve been doing a lot of self discovery and repairing myself for the past few months, and i’ve learned some really important things about myself.

before i tell you, i want to say that i’m still the same ghostcactuss i was before my hiatus. sure, some things have changed, but i’m still me. not that i really think i have to tell anybody here, because i’ve known all of you to be an incredibly accepting group.

with that being said;

hi. my name is otto, and i’m a transgender man.

and that feels incredible to say out loud. my whole life i’ve looked in the mirror and i was never really sure why i hated what i saw, but i did. i didn’t know why it didn’t feel good when other people would tell my parents what a beautiful daughter they had.

i thought there was something wrong with me. and over time i started to withdraw, hence my hiatus from this site. because if i couldn’t even stand to pass by a mirror, why would anybody else want anything to do with me?

that’s when i started to realize. the reason i didn’t like the way i looked or was perceived wasn’t because there was anything wrong with me. it was because i wasn’t living as the person i really am.

i’m sorry for the long break. but i honestly feel that my mental health and happiness overall is so much better than it has ever been. and i’m happy to say i’m taking requests again :D
