I lived for that music video. Plus all the iconic queens that were in it. I feel like having you as a guest judge on Drag Race would just make sense. You’re like the guest judge that everyone is dying to see. Jade Jolie is amazing and the resemblance is uncanny honestly. So far, everything is going well. I’ve just been dealing with some morning sickness and mood swings. But other than that, things are going great.

Oh god, that’s definitely going to raise some questions from my girlfriend when she sees I get notifications from ‘daily baby updates’, but, it’s what must be done if I want to stay current and in the know. I’m all for pinky promises, I take that shit seriously, so you got it. Nah, I’m saying she might in the attic or something, if that really was how mine was decorated, but I highly doubt it - my families pretty normal, guess I’m just the black sheep.

I feel like you’re probably subscribed to a lot weirder things. So “daily baby updates” would be the least weird on that list I’m sure. Well now I’m disappointed because I thought I was about to see some actual alien furniture here. Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me at all if your family was just as out there as you are. There’s nothing wrong with being the black sheep of the family. I feel like in some ways I am too.

I’m waiting to find out. I figure it makes it a little bit more exciting that way. And regardless of the gender, I’m going to be thrilled to meet them for the first time.

I bet it’s insane. That’s absolutely adorable. Sometimes I have to avoid baby sections in stores completely because I know just looking at all the little clothes and toys I’ll get so broody. And I’m barely twenty, I don’t need to feel that type of way about babies. Plus I’m sure my boyfriend would have a heart attack.

I know what you mean. Even before I was pregnant, the baby fever was real at times. If it helps any, you can indulge on shopping in the baby sections and you’re more than welcome to spoil my little one. That way you have the satisfaction of shopping but you don’t have to have the commitment of having a baby of your own.

At least you’ve got a while to mentally prepare yourself before it happens. Either that or you spend the next few months painting every wall in your house with wipe clean paint to spare your sanity for years to come. I’m the same, I’ve not got an artistic bone in my body. I’m sure its only a matter of time before Joe Exotic does something crazy again to give us all the drama that we need in our lives! Guess that means the only thing we can to is form an unofficial Tiger King hype squad - I’ll start looking for animal print tops and flower crowns ASAP.

Thank god there’s still time to baby proof and fully prepare for when they get older. Is there a such thing as wipe clean paint? Because if so, I’m definitely going to have to look into it. Apparently I heard that Carole Baskin got control of his zoo. Which I’m sure really pissed off Joe even more. I am so here for the Tiger King hype squad. We need to get the world talking about it again and making all of the memes. Because the memes have been my absolute favorite part of the entire thing.

Hey, I’m always here for some binge-watch ice-cream FaceTime sessions. I got you, babe. You’re not alone. I might not exactly know what it’s like to deal with all those hormones, but I’m still here.

That sounds perfect honestly. I need all the binge watching FaceTime sessions. Especially with all these new titles Netflix keeps dropping. I swear I’m glued to my couch. You’re the absolute best and I love you.

True. I don’t think I’ve got enough time to give everybody in the world my opinion or advice on something. Yeah, I bet! I feel like that’s the one part of parenthood I’d enjoy, just decorating a kid’s room. Otherwise, I’d be terrible at being a parent.

I don’t think anyone has enough time to give everyone in the world advice. That’s what therapists and other professionals are for. I’m sure you wouldn’t be a terrible parent. You seem like a pretty cool guy and you’d make a great dad if it ever happened. 

The best surprise of your life, I’m sure. I wasn’t patient enough for that, so more power to you.

I figure that this pregnancy will fly by and the little one will be here before I know it. I’m just trying to enjoy the pregnancy as much as I can. And the surprise of finding out the gender just makes it even more exciting. 

I can only imagine! I remember when my mom became a grandmother for the first time she was so excited. But be careful, one doesn’t stop them from asking for more, if you have siblings she might never stop bothering them until they have kids of their own.

I’m hoping that this one will hold her off on asking for more for a while. And if she continues to ask for more, I’m depending on my siblings to have a baby to shut her up again. Does your mom still nag you about grandkids?

That’s understandable. You’re the one pregnant, you should have been able to pick when the rest of the world knows. I’m very sorry you didn’t get to do that. It’s good to see the positive in things even if it didn’t work out the way you wanted. I’m sure people will happily help you as much as you want them to, some might even help you more than you want them to. Hey, if this stay at home thing keeps going you might have a lot of time on your hand.

It’s alright. I kind of expected it would somehow get leaked. No matter how lowkey I tried to keep it. I’m just happy that the world knows now and everyone can move on, you know? That is one good thing. I’m going to need all the help I get. Thankfully I have some close friends who are parents, so I can bug them at all hours of the day with questions and concerns. I’m perfectly content staying at home for as long as possible. As much as I love being social and going to events, I’d much rather be at home, in my pajamas, and binge watching.

Nothing in particular. I just thought it was a good choice for a newborn. Gender neutral and very cutesy. 

And you will always have doubts but again taking that minute to just breathe and say “I got this, I can do this” works wonders. I wouldn’t say amazing but I do the best I can and that’s really all we can do as humans. I miss certain things about pregnancy, actually, very few things and the raging hormones is definitely on the list of things not missed. You are more than welcome I’m glad I could help. Absolutely, mum’s night out you can definitely count on me for such nights. I’m Kaya, by the way, probably should have started with that!

I’m sure I will. But I know at the end of the day, I have a great support system of people to remind me to breathe and to reassure me that I’m doing my best. Which is sometimes all someone ever needs. I honestly can’t wait until the morning sickness goes away. Not to mention, I could definitely do without the raging hormones. The best thing about pregnancy is hands down the little moments when you feel them moving or kicking. The first time it happened, it scared me a little bit. But once I realized what was happening, it was such an amazing moment. It’s nice to officially meet you, Kaya. I’m Gigi.

A great support system is the best thing you can have at a time like this! They’ll make life ten times easier. I can’t tell you how freaked out I was during Dianna’s pregnancy and I wasn’t even the one carrying Jax! But my friends helped calm me and her down a lot, it was really great. That’s definitely a great idea! Stick with the things that are easy to switch out.

I really couldn’t be luckier. I have the best mom in the world and she’s my saving grace and she’s always there when I need her. I can understand being freaked out during the pregnancy, even if you’re not the one carrying the child. It’s still a surreal experience and I can imagine even more so once the birth is happening. 

That sounds cool! You don’t hear too many people keeping the gender a surprise until they’re actually here nowadays; I think people are too impatient, or it goes with just wanted to focuses on the theme of the nursery and choosing a name. But there are lots of options you can do for a gender neutral room. Oh gosh- that’s a lot of yellow. Don’t go blind.

That’s kind of why I wanted to be different. I figured it would make it a little more fun and mysterious to keep it a surprise until the birth. Because that way, even if rumors get out about the gender, I can honestly say that I don’t even know, so anything saying otherwise is false. I just want that intimidate moment when they’re born and just know that besides the doctors and nurses, I’m the only one that knows. Don’t worry, I’m not making everything yellow. It’s just enough yellow to keep it bright and cheerful without going overboard.

At least you get a few months of them just being adorable and sleepy before they decide it’s time to destroy your house. That would be so cool, I love those instagram posts you see of creative parents who manage to turn their kid’s doodles into wall art, not that I’d be remotely artistic enough to manage that! Hey, the more we talk about it the more I’m thinking Tiger King nursery decor could be the way to go, it’s definitely not as crazy an idea as I initially thought.

I don’t even want to think about the havoc this little one is going to wreak throughout the house. I’m going to enjoy them being tiny and havoc free for as long as I can. I love that too but I know I’m nowhere near as creative as those parents are. You know, I feel like the Tiger King hype is dying down and I’m sad about it. It’s been a while since I’ve heard the Carole Baskin song on Tik Tok. We need to get the hype back up, Lil. The future of my nursery theme depends on it.

Alright, keep your secrets. I’ll find out when the rest of the world does…maybe a few dozen months after as I’m slow. It would definitely explain a lot, maybe I should ask my mom, see if she still has any alien-themed furniture to hand down to you while simultaneously finding out why I am the way I am.
