On the road today: it’s easy to forget that the Australian countryside is not just about the wide landscapes - there’s an incredible amount of sky. Learnt all about making Tempeh today at @cornersmith picklery with @veganprojects: so interesting and not too complicated (no pressure now I’m going to try making it at home !) Commonly made from soy beans, it can also use other legumes and even be mixed and fermented with sunflower seeds or peanuts - so perfect for lots of exploration. Pics of pan fried soy tempeh sprinkled with nutritional yeast, pan fried black bean tempeh and then fermented, uncooked blackbean tempeh.
