Honestly though after watching Jury Duty & Company Retreat back to back the tone shift is super interesting, like the difference between strangers and an established work family is so fun. Company Retreat was honestly more personal and emotional, like really bringing Anthony into their established team and making him part of this family and accepting him— and he was so quickly willing to defend them and fight for them in the face of corporate takeover, when he himself had nothing on the line. He truly just cared for them and that was enough reason for him to fight. He WAS apart of their little family unit. It was just so insanely wholesome. Not that Jury Duty wasn’t, because they truly did build their own little family in that one too. But the overarching story in Company Retreat felt more personal and pointed. A mix of commentary on corporate attitude/takeovers of small business and true connection between coworkers who are your friends/family. My heart hurts
