This does seem a little out of context. Her achievement as the first Japanese national player to do this doesn't erase her Haitian heritage, and it is correct to say she's representing Japan. If this were a question of her personal identity I'd understand and refer you to this video; https://youtu.be/FAhLWyxMhZc with a Japanese person's take on the situation with reference to what Naomi Osaka herself has said about her ethnic identity.
(Yes erasure of ethnic identities and blackness specifically does exist and is problematic, but at least in the context of this screenshot I don't think it's relevant)
