i uh. didnt use a grid unfortunatelyβ¦ the entire thing was made freehand in around three hours using only my finger bc i dont have a stylus for my switchβ¦.would love to share it if i could though :[
you can go to the palette house and edit the album, then go into the settings section and add a grid there ^_^ you don't have to actually change anything, just take the picture and then exit w/o editing :333
this is what the grid looks like.. not sure how helpful it might be, but i have seen a website that lets you convert images to pixel art suitable for tomodachi life!! (also i am so sorry if im not understanding if theres a better way to do this i lowkey have no idea)

to get the full resolution you need to go down to the brush setting and select βsmoothβ once youβve uploaded your image, this way you get the full resolution!!!
