I'm so confused, I thought the scene where Gangle cries when Jax is put in the tent was Gangle finally accepting her feelings and finally being able to grieve for Jax in her own time, no?
Since she was having trouble crying for her and was feeling bad and guilty about it.
But then I saw a lot of people saying that this scene is meant to show that she doesn't forgive Jax or won't grieve for her.
But that doesn't make much sense to me. Gangle agrees with Jax and says this in ep8.
And in the time skip, she hangs out with Caine, so she forgave him (he tortured her with her worst fears and traumas).
Jax’s tragedy is that she couldn't accept being loved or forgiven, so she simply withdrew and isolated herself until the end. Caine on the other hand, at least tried to redeem himself and change things, and change (and transition) was exactly what Jax was avoiding.
I’m not saying it’s hypocritical or "wrong" of Gangle to forgive some abusers and not others (I’ve done the same in my personal life, it’s normal), buuut since this is a *fictional story* (and we’ve been shown scenes of her being neutral toward Jax, agreeing with her, and forgiving Caine), it makes me think that the idea of ​​her not forgiving Jax or not mourning her doesn't make much narrative sense.
Especially considering this dialogue from Zooble.

I think it makes more sense for her to be much more confused about her feelings, finally realizing and accepting that Jax is truly "gone." She might be feeling guilt, anger, hurt, regret, and feeling confused about why she misses her when she treated her so bad, trying to understand why she feels so sad and cries over someone who mistreated her.
At least that’s my take on the whole scene. And I love how no one forces Gangle to forgive anyone (believe me, the number of cartoons and movies I grew up watching where that happened is traumatizing). She grieved, but in her own time and without judgment. And I think that’s beautiful, and it makes me really happy.
And given all those narrative reasons, I think she would forgive Jax (in her own time, just as she did with Caine). But in Jax's case, she left before there was even time for anything to actually happen. That's very sad.
