Most kids these days think 80’s music is really old but can you imagine what YOUR future kids are going to think of 80’s music? And not just music, even movies. Like infinity war is going to be some old relic of the past, that to future kids, has crap cgi but to us it’s amazing. Pop culture right now is going to be talked about in some kid’s history essay.

I thought this was a meme at first and now I’m questioning who I am as a person.

If you are gen Z, you know what bullying is. It’s not the mean girl in school telling you you suck, it’s your family. The mean girl is easy to forget about. She doesn’t know you, why should you care? When your mother tells you that you shouldn’t wear that bathing suit (even though you think it looks fabulous), when your uncle says you can’t sing for shit (even when you’re in the school choir), when your older cousin laughs at you for eating popcorn, and tells you to watch your thighs (even though you’re thirteen), when your aunt tells you that you’re dressing like a whore, and Jesus hates you for it (even though it says that NOWHERE in the Bible), you start to doubt yourself. They know you. It could be true. The same people who tell you that you can always come to them if you’re depressed or bullied ARE THE BULLIES. It sucks that they can’t get it through their head that you are already unstable. They have forced us to become stronger than them, to bottle that anger until you can’t anymore. We know one day we will crack, and when we do, we get called hormonal, and made fun of. They have caused us to become unfeeling and angry. Bullying isn’t just one person making fun of your outfit. It’s a large group of people telling you you aren’t worth it, and you can’t do anything.
